The bar in the lobby area was great. All the hotel staff was efficient and polite.
We did not enjoy our stay at this Fairmont. Valet would take over 30 mins to get our car. Extremely crowded and under staffed it seemed. Staff was not very nice. They checked us out of our room while we were out and before check out time. Threw away our belongings we had left in our room. It was quite a horrific and terrible experience.
The valet service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. The valet was prompt and the Bell Man was very helpful in getting us to our room and helping us get settled. Because of COVID, we did not use the restaurant or the pool but it looked lovely. The location was perfect and reminded me so much of San Francisco with the hills. It was walking distance to the piers, shops, aquarium and Pikes Market. The corner room was delightful, spacious and well appointed. Two comments on this hotel: Google sent us to the 4th Street entrance, you will need to go around the corner to find the main entrance to the hotel as well as the parking. It would also be helpful to seniors if a single handicap rail or bar were installed in the shower for balance. Thank you Fairmont for never failing to deliver a delightful stay!
My room was fine. But for the price, I certainly wouldn't book again. My room had a stale carpet smell. My shower was a bathtub with a dingy shower curtain. The ac was subpar. The tv allowed for a small select channels. Couldn't even find local news or CNN. Total for my room 1 night including taxes, resort fees and parking over $500. I did like the sauna, pool and workout space.
Fridge in room didn’t work. Brought a huge fridge to replace it. Silly response No front desk response to call- on hold for minutes
I liked the location and that most places I wanted to visit were walkable. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi/pool was nice! The staff were very nice and approachable. The only downside was in our room the tub was small but the water pressure was awesome!
Understaffed so a few glitches but overall excellent property.
