I was a little disappointed with the place no handicap accessible. It was all steps everywhere my husband uses a walker and sometimes a chair had a difficult time getting to breakfast. The bathroom was slippery we had to go to Walmart and buy mats, there was no barsinvthe bathroom to hold onto. The place other wise was ok the staff was friendly and helpful but not the place for people with disabilities.

This small resort like hotel was just what my wife and needed. We were very pleased with everything and everyone. The free shuttle to the casino was a plus. The Hibachi restaurant had the best Crab meat roll. Our weekend getaway was wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed one night. Unfortunately, we were located quite a distance from the restaurants and had to climb numerous steps, which made it difficult for my husband who uses a Rolator. The accommodations for handy-cap people are poor!

Old hotel with perfectly angled pictures on website not quite reflecting what u will get. Seems like a good place to just lay your head if u plan to enjoy the nearby bars and clubs not the greatest for that "nice" hotel ambience we were hoping for.

The staff was excellent, but the room was not up to the standard you get at a nice hotel like the woodlands. Wall paper was coming off the wall, the ac didn't work after the first 2 hours and the shower was no water pressure and the hot water took forever to come out.

I found the hotel very relaxing and enjoyable. Many of the rooms look out onto a landscaped wooded area. Since the hotel is, unfortunately, smoke free, you can sit outside on the deck or patio in chairs they provide for your morning coffee and cigarette. It's shaded and very relaxing. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff is very accommodating. I mistakenly thought my room came with a refrigerator. When I asked, the staff had one brought in the next day.

Enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and nicely appointed. The staff was very friendly and helped me with directions a couple times. My only issue was the staff could not replace the soap or shampoo in the room. It contained mango which I am allergic to. They mentioned I was the second person who asked about that. They should keep an alternative in stock. Otherwise, it was very nice and I would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed here before. This is a beautiful hotel. Our room was small, but comfortable and modern. There was a sliding glass door, which closed and locked, that opened to a couple of chairs and a small table. The pool is nice. There is a sunbathing area. There are also a couple of restaurants on the premises. We barely had to wait for the complimentary shuttle which transports guests to and from the Mohegan Sun Casino. The only drawback is the amount of stairs throughout the hotel. Wheelchairs and scooters would have a very difficult time getting around the place, especially getting to swimming and dining.

Very clean property with extremely accomodating staff. Arrived with a large group with rooms booked on different floors and gentleman at front desk immediately offered to change things around so we could all stay nearby one another.

Hotel is situated right on a babbling brook with couple small waterfalls. Me and my wife suntanned on rocks and played in the water. Great experience. Nicest hotel in area and also real close to the casino!

The staff was friendly, the hotel is very clean. We had a wonderful night out.

Great value, plenty of activities on-site and in a great location for shopping and the casino.

it was a wonderful stay, beautiful resort my only issue is that the club they have downstairs had me up alll night because i could hear it from my room, along with a dog barking all night...i got no sleep because of that issue...overall it was ok but if your looking to stay here try staying upstairs so that the noise doesnt disturb your sleep.

Dear Chelsea: Thank you for sharing your experience regarding your recent stay. Although available, handicap accessibility is not ideal in our hotel and for that we deeply apologize. Thank you, Ross Kornfeld

Dear Kevin, Thank you for sharing your experience regarding your recent stay. Many guests like to sit outside in the morning enjoying the view, drinking coffee and just relaxing. Sorry to read about the spotty wifi connection, we'll have to look into the problem. We hope this doesn't deter you from a return trip in the near future. Thank you, Ross Kornfeld
