The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent. The property has just undergone a major renovation and modernization. The outside grounds could use some major landscaping.

The internet is really hard to connect to. You have to load a registration page, but they wouldn't load for me. They have a tech number, but who wants to call that when you just want to check email.
Having stayed at thousands of hotels over the past 50 years I can honestly say that this hotel had few extraordinary ameneties to distinguish it from other area hotels. I have stayed at the three most prominent hotels in Tunkhannock and this hotel is a cut above Shadowbrook and slightly below the Hampton Inn. I consider the room rates ridiculous for all three hotels and the accomodations and service average at best . The air conditioning system was very noisy and I complained about it and was told it was repaired - it wasn't. The roughnecks gathered in little groups in the parking lot drinking beer didn't add to the ambiance.
Seems a little expensive, but better than shadow brook. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was decent and convenient. It's only 1 of 3 hotels in Tunkhannock but I would repeat when needed.

This was a very new hotel. The decorations were very pleasant. The morning breakfast was great, you could have waffle and egg and sausage breakfast sandwiches in addition to the usual. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
New construction, untouched by recent flooding. Tunkhannock has needed a new hotel for a while. Good sized rooms, with a microwave and fridge. Book early. There is a lot of natural gass development in the area and it was sold out a few nights we were there. Housekeeping was a little slow and did not get to our room one day when we came back early. Staff was otherwise helpful and friendly. Nicer than the average Comfort Inn. Overall we were happy with the place and will be staying there our next visit.
