Hotel had an odd smell, old needed to be up dated

Rooms were clean and quiet. The darkest room I have ever had, slept well.

Very friendly staff, clean, and good variety of breakfast served

The staff went above and beyond for our family in a time of need. The first room had a leak from a high running AC but they were more than happy to upgrade our room and make our stay wonderful...even helping in our extended stay due to medical issues and always with a smile and well wishes...the rooms were comfortable with an easy route from the freeway both on and off. The hottub was large with a fireplace. Located close to many food places and right down from all the downtown action. Will stay again if ever in the area.

great place to stay and close to the business I had in downtown Salt Lake!

Close to downtown airport and freeways. Airport shuttle a big plus. Daily breakfast enjoyable and nutritious but a bit redundant though we were there for a week. Evening social a nice plus with wine beer and snacks. Hit the spot. We would go back in future.

The hotel was nice and the hotel staff were very helpful. I was able to have my dog stay which me which was very nice. However, I had multiple problems with the wifi cutting out in the afternoons. I work remotely so that was very frustrating. The downtown location was great, except crime in the area seems to be a problem. (not really the hotel's fault) There was busted window glass in the parking lot from someone's car who was broken into.

This hotel was just fine. Not too fancy, but not dirty. The city blocks in SLC are much larger than typical and so it looked as if this was much close to the convention center than it actually is.

Can't say enough about the staff, everyone was outgoing and friendly. They really try hard to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. That being said the room itself was very disappointing. There was obvious mold spots on the ceiling in the bathroom along with a couple millipede's. On the last night there I noticed that housekeeping had failed to clean the room before I checked in when I found a bloody kleenex behind the dresser as I was trying to plug in my laptop. Also, the Thermostat was not functioning properly, had to turn it to max cold in order to get the air on at all couldnt adjust the temperature otherwise. All that being said I wasn't in the room much and wasn't going to let those things bother. Probably won't stay there again which is tough because for the price and the staff it was a great deal, the amenities themself though are just to hard to get past, maybe with an update or remodel......

Very nice place and clean room, good to stay. Convenient to the center of this city.

Clean, comfortable room, with lots of amenities, including a fridge and microwave; nice, hot breakfast and manager's reception, with free drinks and apps, included; and very convenient, central, downtown location (but perfectly quiet). Would have preferred a lower price.

I was not at all impressed by the Comfort Inn. It's close to downtown, but I'll never stay here again. When I arrived there was a water leak in the bathroom ceiling. Maintenance did "fix" the leak, but I could see mold starting to grow in the bathroom. I asked the front desk to move rooms, but they were sold out for the weekend. They didn't even offer me a discount on the room or any compensation for the hassle. To top off the whole experience the bathtub wouldn't drain when I took a shower, so I had to stand in calf-high water for the whole shower.

Good Location, excellent staff, needs new blankets and carpet., repairs needed in bathroom. The place is run down.

Walking distance to the Salt Palace was great in the mild Utah winter, no problems nice direct, clean route. Hotel might have been two units, we stayed in the attached enclosed unit where it was all good.. two exceptions: the room was warmer than I woudl have liked it so I tried working with the themostat, which never seemed to work right and the unit was a little noisy like a bath room exhaust and one of our keys didn't work on the side street entrance doors. Not that big of deal where I was whinning to hotel mgmt. It was a good deal.

I went to Salt Lake for a business trip. I decided to stay downtown since all of the hotels near the airport were full. I did not have high expectations, but I found this hotel clean and comfortable and would certainly stay there again if I had business downtown. It was in walking distance from my business meetings, so I really did not even need a car.

Very good hospitality... The room had everything I'd need for a quick interview. Even had a refrigerator.. The blow dryer was not working but they quickly arranged fora spare one (was on time for the interview!). Everyone was helpful and it was great that they had the airport shuttle as well...

This was my first time in Salt Lake City. The hotel sits on a one way street and the entrance was a little hard to find. From the street it looks like you're at the back of the hotel so it was a little confusing at first. Check in was a breeze and we needed advice for dinner which the front desk was very helpful with. Our room was very clean and the hotel was nice and quiet. We took advantage of the free breakfast which was just average. Overall a great value for being right downtown and the friendliness of the staff will make it worthwhile to stay here again next time I am in SLC.

Very clean and enjoyable place

Good except that they didn't have Fox News Channel or Direct TV ! Absurd in 2010.
