The best time to book flights to Utah will depend on what you want to get out of your trip. The state offers a great choice of excellent ski resorts, so if you’re planning on having fun in the snow, you’ll need to plan your trip for the winter months. If possible, try to avoid traveling in the school holidays as slopes can be crowded and cheap airline tickets to Utah harder to find.
If you want to get out and explore the state’s spectacular national parks, try to travel in the spring or fall months. The weather should be warm but not sweltering and visiting outside of the peak summer season will allow you to see the parks at their best.
The weather in July and August can be incredibly hot, especially in southern parts of the state. Unless you’re a fan of the heat or are planning on spending your trip in air-conditioned spaces, it might be best to avoid traveling at this time of year.

Most of the flights that depart from Salt Lake City International are domestic services although the airport does also offer a small choice of international routes. Seasonal services increase the number of direct destinations available at certain times of the year. Buses and light rail networks connect the airport with Salt Lake City and taxis are also available at the terminal.
Located close to the small city of St George, this regional airport offers a small choice of scheduled domestic services. The most popular destinations for passengers traveling from the airport are Salt Lake City, Denver and Phoenix.
