I booked my reservation 40 hours prior to check-in. I requested a pet friendly room. I emailed the hotel via the Expedia reservation requesting a pet friendly room. The hotel charges $20 for the pet. Reasonable price. Upon arrival I was told that all the pet friendly rooms were sold out. However if I paid $50 I could get a room. When I asked the receptionist why I would have to pay 105% more for the room she told me for additional cleaning fees. I showed her my email to the hotel requesting a pet friendly room her answer was you should have called us directly instead of using a 3rd party for my reservation. On a positive note the room was clean and quiet.

Overall a good stay. The room was clean, the breakfast had good variety and the staff where kind and helpful. Three things that could have been better: 1. We and others had trouble with their door cards not working all the time. 2. Our hot water didn't work one of the days (most likely due to the renovation work going on around us) 3. The WiFi didn't really work in our room because we were too far away from a router. However, these really were minor issues to us and ultimately you get what you pay for and more. We enjoyed the indoor pool and had no problems with noise or privacy. Definitely worth the price for anyone on a budget.

The room was mostly clean there was flakes of something in the sink. My key card did not work at first but I went back to the lobby and someone else was there and willingly swapped my room to a 1st floor one at my request which was very nice of him and got me a working key.
