The room was well equipped and clean. I recommend this hotel.

The place was filthy. The hallways dirty, elevator buttons were greasy. Room smelled like floral cleaning fluid. Everything needed a good scrub.

It was alright until the meeting when we wanted to shower. Noticed mildew on the ceiling. The fixtures in the shower/tub almost came of in your hand. It was cheap so you get what you pay for.

The hotel is in a great location and does a good business. I think they need to upgrade some of the amenities. Only one working plug in the room, and I had to hold the plug to get it to work. Very little parking! We drove around and around to try and find a parking spot, ended up parking in front. We worried all night that our car was going to get towed. (it didn't) The room was clean and the bed was great. Tacky furnishings. The elevator and outside was dull and shabby. Like I said, they need to upgrade. The staff was efficient and friendly.

Wonderfully clean and well kept room in a good downtown location for a reasonable price. Air conditioning unit was a bit dated but great experience overall.

Stayed 2 nights (Thurs and Fri). People were loud both nights in rooms next to and above mine.

My husband I and were going up to SLC for a short trip, and we didn't want to break the bank on a hotel room. I know the old adage of "you get what you pay of" but we were hopeful. Unfortunately, the adage was true.. My husband and I would be arriving late, so I called the hotel to let them know therefore they wouldn't get marked as a no show. The gentleman that answered the phone was really quite rude about us coming in late. He asked me multiple times if I was sure that we wanted to leave as late as we were and if there was any way to arrive earlier. I'm sorry, but that is our decision not yours! Any other time this has happened with us, the hotel as always been courteous and notated our account. Upon arriving, the outside looks like it belongs in a CSI episode; dirty, rundown, and just no way pleasing to the eye. We checked in, and the staff was less than professional. I understand it's the graveyard shift, but still! Once we got into the room, everything just looked old and dingy. There was no safe for personal belongings, the sink had a crack in it, trash around the door into our room, all around just not great. I wouldn't stay here again nor recommend it to anybody.

They had a water pipe that was leaking for 2 days, sign was up that said "no water between noon-2p", 3p the water still was not back on, we called front desk, says the water will be back on in 20 min, 20 min turns into another 3 hours. Then the next day, same thing with the note "no water between noon-2p" they kept on telling us it will be back soon blah blah blah, turns out the water was back on at 8pm!! Meanwhile my friend couldn't take a shower til that time so she was pretty irritated. To top it all off they didn't even offer us a refund. Customer service not that great

Beds were surprisingly comfortable (temperpedic). Once you figure out salt lakes one-way streets, it's ok. Too many homeless.

Basic hotel amenities, clean rooms with comfortable beds.

Good central location near downtown Salt Lake. Rooms were more luxurious than the hotel exterior. Staff was very young but friendly. Free parking in lot. Main discomfort was very loud plumbing noises so I could not sleep. I could hear everyone taking a shower next to my unit and the roar of the water was so loud I was woken up in the middle of the night. Free breakfast was decent.

Room was simple, clean, relatively quiet and walkable to Temple Square and etc. Just what I was looking for. Staff was kind and helpful.

Great location downtown next to a lot of food and brewpubs. Beds are super comfortable. If what you want out of a hotel is a great night's rest, stay here. Decent breakfast as well.

Be careful to one of their staff..if they ask you if you are a card holder, do not give your card right away, ask them first if what they gonna do with it and remember the staff name who assist you before you check in.

O.K., so you need a reasonably priced and clean room. This hotel will do the job. Free WiFi, free breakfast and in downtown. It's 5 blocks to the Family History Library and many eateries are close by. A little traffic noise in the morning and car wash next door not too bad. Not a bad place to stay. I would stay again if needed.

This hotel is not really nice but the bed is very comfy, clean room and its close to the train station. But the thing is, one of the staff in the front desk ask me if I am a card holder and I said yes, he took it and swipe right away and he said that hes gonna take 50$ out of my card for deposit just in case if I ruin something inside the room, I dont like the way he did..he should ask my permission first before he swipe my card. And when I check out, the other staff told me that he should only took 20$ out of the card because it is a non smoking room, and he said that I might get my money back on my card after a week, when I check my card, I only got 30$ back, I missed my 20$ and I keep complaining them about it but they said that, they already put back all the money that they took. Its ripped off. Im not going vack to this hotel anymore.

room was nice, bright and comfortable, big bed. free wifi is always nice, they had good literature about things to do in salt lake. very satisfied

the beds are really comfortable and the downtown location was great i stayed 5 nights and my car stayed parked the entire time since i was so close to everything.

Great inexpensive place to stay in downtown SLC area. Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and a short drive to the university. Easy access to freeway. Beds were comfortable and the room & common areas were clean.
