Every year we look for places to stay in Salt Lake for the week of the convention where we are exhibitors. We have stayed a quite a few different hotels, but this one was by far the best for the price. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, guest laundry, and all the in-room amenities (refrigerator, ...
Excellent value and tons of space in my suite. Very comfortable. Good breakfast and attentive staff. Upholstery on the sofa needs replacing. Time for a renovation of plumbing system. But for value, a comfortable and convenient stopover near the airport. Will definitely stay there again.
Little America provides good basic accommodations for business or personal travel. I stayed 3 days for a business conference. The room was clean and neat, and generally in good condition. There is no refrigerator or microwave in the room but a single-serving coffee machine is provided along with ...
when I checked in, they gave us a room that was locked from the inside. They said they would fix it, but never offered us a different room. Finally we asked for a different room, since the original room 104 was not available/ We had just traveled for 24 hours and were very tired. The second room ...
This hotel is right in the heart of SLC with a beautiful view of the capitol and Temple Square. Walking distance to great shopping and food. The hotel staff was beyond accommodating and friendly! They were helpful when I needed it and gave tidbits of history along the way. The room was comfortable ...
The rooms are very nice and newly updated. I've stayed here twice in the last 2 months. Between my two stays they have begun to charge for parking in the nearly deserted vast parking lot. They also now actually charge a substantial extra fee to your credit card for "incidentals" upon check in, but ...
Better late than never. I stayed here in September. Our experience was amazing, top of the line. From check-in to check out. The lady that checked us in was very polite, excelent service, great conversation. Room very clean. Let’s move to dinner that night, we went to the restaurant 15 min before ...
Nestled in a valley and surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, Salt Lake City is the largest town in Utah. The Great Salt Lake, once admired and forever immortalized in the work of Ansel Adams, sits just to the northeast of Salt Lake City.
A perfect blend of city life and rural activities, the town offers countless hikes, beautiful lakes and the proclaimed best snow on earth. Whether you're on the hunt for beautifully-designed architecture or some of the world's most picturesque mountains, Salt Lake City is an ideal destination.
The weather is beautiful year-round in Salt Lake City, if you don't mind a little snow during the winter. Summers reach highs of about 90 degrees during the peak, never too hot to go exploring what the surrounding mountains have to offer. During the winter, temperatures have a low of approximately 27, perfect weather for enjoying coffee and hot cocoa by the fireplace inside one of the many nearby ski resorts.
The fall seasons are gloriously beautiful, with leaves of every imaginable color falling from the trees that line the streets of an architecturally wondrous city. Enjoy walks through quaint shopping centers like those in the Sugar House area.
Although Salt Lake City has something to offer during any season, the summer is one of the best times for festivals. The Twilight Music Festival, featuring cheap concerts within the downtown park, occurs every Thursday during July and August. During the mornings and afternoons, this same park hosts a farmers market during the mornings and early afternoons.
Aside from the many festivals, the summer is also the perfect time for exploring the many hiking trails through canyons and around the lakes surrounding Salt Lake City. Some of these nature spots most loved by locals are Donut Falls, Little Cottonwood Canyon and Red Pine Lake. All of these hikes are small enough to take a break from business for a day filled with nature and exploration.
The arrival of winter is also a great time to visit Salt Lake City. From late November to early June, ski resorts are open. Whether you choose a season pass or a weekend pass, most Salt Lake City hotels will usually offer discounts or shuttle services to ski lifts. Salt Lake City's downtown area has free parking during the month of December for Christmas celebrations.
Downtown is decorated with beautiful lights during the holiday season, making walks between business buildings, hotels and shopping venues nearly magical. The Gallivan Center gets turned into an outdoor skating rink during this season as well. With a hot cocoa and coffee stand right next to the rink, bring the novelty of this season into full effect.
Quality Salt Lake City hotels can be found in many different districts. If you're looking for a more city-based experience, downtown is a great place to stay. Pub crawls, night clubs and malls are all within walking distance of Salt Lake's largest business buildings. Downtown is also perfect for anyone interested in history and keen to study the local architecture, as most of the best historic buildings are within walking distance of downtown hotels.
Cottonwood Canyon is a great place for a nature lover to stay. Sitting right where the mountain reaches the valley, the view of Salt Lake Valley from these hotels is beautiful. Because Cottonwood Canyon is on the east side, these hotels usually offer west-facing balconies. This way, guests can enjoy their evening meals with beautiful views of the sunset across snowcapped mountains.
The Hilton garden was extremely nice and was fair on the prices. Enjoyed our stay and would reccomend this hotel 1st before any others.
I loved to stay in this hotel. It was super clean and confortable. Many good restaurants at walking distance. I arrived by train and the friendly staff was very efficient. Breakfast is included and of good quality. I will definitely coming back.
I truly enjoyed my stay at the crystal inn, I stayed here because it was affordable and the amenities like the pool and spa were a plus. It was close to great pubs and restaurants, and I truly enjoyed how comfy the bed was, first time in a long time I fell asleep in minutes after lying down. My only complaint was that I wasn’t able to get the room that had a large bathtub in the middle of it, it’s what drew me to check in with your hotel, I wish it would’ve been an optional upgrade or somehow listed in the app as available. Nonetheless I truly enjoyed my stay here and look forward to visiting again.
We have stayed there twice now. Great breakfast with nice touches like almonds and walnuts for your oatmeal. Will stay there again.
