Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown

Close to everything I needed: Convention Center, Temple, Shopping.

We were made aware of the $15 charge for parking when we got there. Turns out we didn't even need to pay it because the next morning (Sunday) the gate was open. We were told about the restaurant inside the hotel. We were excited since it would be super convenient with kids. Eat elsewhere because it is so expensive for what you get. $13 for a burger and fries was not worth it. I would have gone elsewhere, but with the traffic and hungry kids we decided to bit the bullet. The lobby is very nice and the staff checking in an out were very helpful, but the room did not match the niceness of the lobby. It felt dirty just being in it and we only used the paper cups because the glass ones were not cleaned properly. The carpet was dirty as well. I felt like I needed to shower in scalding water after leaving.

Negatives: didn't get the requested king size bed room but 2 queens instead. No big problem there and I am sure they would have moved us if we asked, but we got in late about 11:45pm and didn't really care that much. The first bed we laid on collapsed on one side (guess having the 2 beds paid off) Positives: Best pillows ever!!! Close walk to everything we went there to do. Staff was incredible. We told them about the bed on the way out and she was so greatful we told her and promised no charge and seemed worried that maybe we needed that bed which we didn't. 4 elevators which made thugs go quicker.

Centrally located hotel near Vivint Smart Home Arena (Utah Jazz), Temple Square, City Creek Shopping Center, and a lot of great eating places.

Booked "business room" at highest rate - due to photo provided. Same as lowest rate standard room, not worth it. Bathrooms equivalent to Interstate motels.

Great location. $15 additional fee if you drove a car to the hotel. Room a little disappointing but not horrible.

My girls and I stayed here for a dance convention being held at the Salt Palace. The walk is VERY short and was so close to our area that we needed to be in for the convention. The parking spots were very skinny, but held our full size sedan nicely. And they allowed us to remain parked in the hotel parking after we'd checked out since our event wasn't over. Also, my girls loved the pool, which stayed open until midnight.

This was a great hotel for a decent price. The location was perfect for doing other things. The pool was bombarded with hippos that loved to yell Marco pollo!!

The hotel itself was great. Great location and very clean and comfortable. A little pricey for what was provided. Overall an excellent night.

convenient to get to, right in front of subway station, so no need car to get to from airport. will stay again, hotel staff are friendly.

Although staff was extraordinary, we checked into our first room and was not cleaned from the previous guests. When checking out I requested a late check out and was informed there was no problem with a 1 oclock check out, but when I went to the room at 1230 my key did not work, I requested a cleaning woman to open the room just to remove my service dog and his equipment to leave and she was unwilling to assist. My key also did not work for exiting the parking garage and was told there would not be a problem. I was granted a free breakfast for the inconvience of the first room.

I booked this hotel because it was near the TRAX station, and right behind the Salt Palace. I enjoyed my stay at the Radisson, but there were a few things that could have made my experience better. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud, and it woke me every time it went off. We finally decided to shut it off on the second night. Also, I don't know what's up with their toilet, but it didn't seem to want to flush. It got clogged with just a few sheets of tissue paper. I had to ring maintenance in the middle of the night, but they were gone so they sent the cleaning lady instead. She also confirmed that their toilets are weak, and clogging is a common problem. That's my only real complaint.

Location couldn't be better. It sits surrounded by the two big malls, temple square and the energy solutions arena. Easy to get aroubd via trax. The room was fancy and comfortable. The only complaint we have is that we had to pay $12 a night to park at the hotel so what we thought was a relatively cheap price for a room was actually more of an averagely priced room. We still enjoyed it though.

The location was nice, and the rooms were decent and comfortable. One reason I booked the hotel was the indoor pool and jacuzzi. I was upset that the jacuzzi would not get hot and when we notified the hotel they seemed to not really care. It wasn't fixed the entire weekend I stayed. Disappointed.

The Salt Lake City Downtown Radisson is conveniently located in the heart of Salt Lake City. To be whisked literally from the doors of the Salt Lake International Airport on The UTA Traxx Rail System to the doors of the downtown Radisson in matter of 15 minutes at a cost of $2.50 is terrific (and by way of comparison, being from metro-NYC, I know that NYC's 3 airports have the worst airport transit systems and super expensive cab fares). The Salt Lake downtown Radisson is well appointed with stream-lined, mid-century modern designs throughout the hotel common areas, rooms and restaurant. The Radisson staff is very gracious and accommodating. I highly recommend the Radisson Downtown Salt Lake Hotel.

Rooms were clean and location good for planned business. Parking more than expected.

I thought it would be nice to just gave a night away with my gf and son. When we got there, it was amazing and the room, was absolutely was gorgeous. And just seeing how excited my son was, well worth it. It was an excellent experience.

the Radisson was very nice. well decorated, the bath was awesome. the beds were very comfortable and the staff knowledgable. close to public trans if that works for u. will stay there again.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Nice lounge and good restaurant for breakfast. Great location.

Centrally located older motel in SLC clean w/view. Has a nice restaurant but we only ate there at breakfast.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. While we enjoyed hearing that the front desk staff was friendly and helpful as well as the lobby was very nice, we were saddened to hear about the issues you encountered with the overall conditions of your room and the cost of the on site restaurant. Your comments will be shared with the management staff so that we can continually improve our services. We hope for another chance to exceed your expectations in the future.
