Treasure Mountain Inn

3.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

We loved staying here. The condos are a great size and it is located right off of Main Street. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and informative. They told us where to eat and what to check out around the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The building is huge! Lots of space! If you are looking for a great place, check Treasure Mountain Inn out!!!

This was a low cost option with a great location for historic Park City and spacious rooms. However there are quite a few shortcomings that make it a qualified "You could stay there if you don't mind": Musty smell in the room - not unexpected from a ski resort, but still...wet shag. Well worn facilities and skimping on amenities - Broken trashcan, sliding doors with broken locks. Why one coffee pod for a room that could sleep 4-6 comfortably? Sometimes rude staff - They oddly checked us out of our room after the first night of our multi-night stay. They didn't try to contact us, they just turned off our keys. When I couldn't get in to the room, the front desk staff members declared I only booked one night. When I responded that it must be a simple error, but I definitely booked a multi-night stay, the response was a defensive "nope you must have only booked one night." Even after I asked them to check again, and they discovered the previous staff member had checked me in incorrectly, one of the staff remained annoyed and accusatory. "You must have checked in late last night." Nope, 4PM. "Well if that room is already booked there is nothing we can do". Fortunately, the other staff member was more polite and could extend the room (to what I reserved) and re-key me, to which the first member added "but you had better bring back all the keys". How dare I want access to my room. It could have been a one-off, but a friend also had issues making their reservation.

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel. We keep coming back thanks to the great location and excellent staff. The value is good. We have stayed in the junior suites and a one bedroom suite. Both are more than suitable for two people but definitely prefer the roomy one bedroom. We stayed on the street side for the first time and there wasn't much noise and it was nice to look out on Main Street. The previous times we have been facing the hot tub.

We came back for the second time based on a very positive first stay. Once again we were not disappointed. The hotel is nice Y located right on Main Street and offers free morning shuttles to the local ski resorts which is a plus.

The one bedroom suite was way more than I personally needed but what luxury & comfort! I used the spa & enjoyed having the full kitchen, the patio sitting area & parking garage. But the greatest part for me was having this wonderful location to walk along Main Street & enjoy the shops, galleries, & bars.

This hotel was top notch. Great staff that was very attentive. The ski shuttles daily as well as ability to walk to anythign in town was a big plus. Even down to being able to buy lift tickets right there so you didnt' need to mess around at the resorts. Wasatch Brewery right across the street was very convenient. Recommend: High West Distillery for apres ski drinks, 501 for vegetarian selection, Silver for a special night and Wasatch for beer and lunch selections. Java Cow for coffee and ice cream can't be missed either.

After a very unfriendly start from several staff members reached by phone the week before ("We are too busy with Sundance to talk to you."), we were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The suite was huge, with full kitchen, living room and large bedroom. A few blocks from great restaurants, with free parking, it has a great location if you don't care about ski-in-ski-out. They have a shuttle to ski areas. Our cautions: the beds were too soft for comfort (old mattresses?) and the water pressure isn't good. The curtains are pieces rather than solid, and don't close completely.

We have stayed here a few times now, and it is always our choice. We come to Park City to create fun and romantic memories together. The rooms are all very unique and comfortable with everything you need down to a wine cork and ipod/mp3 speaker system. Its a great location close to all restaurants and bars. The rooms feel as if you were at home, very comfy, private, organized, and spacious. We had a little trouble figuring out how to turn the heat on but the staff arrived promptly to help us. Great place to stay.

I stay at this hotel every few months. Park city is my favorite place in Utah and Treasure Moutain Inn is the perfect location. It's located right on main street. There is so much activity to do right outside the hotel.

The location was right on the money. You can not beat this location. And an added bonus the room was very nice and reached more than my expectations. I will be staying here more often.

The guy at the front desk made it very uncomfortable at check in. He just couldnt comprehend why two men would want a room with only one bed. You woul think in this industry they would know not to make your guests uncomfortable. He kept telling us that he needed to check something like we were breaking some rule. The other staff was also unfriendly and not very helpful.

Everything was good but our reservation was not ready when we went to check in. The receptionist had to dig into the [...]website for our info

Good food, Drinking and dancing,

We had a great stay. The people of the hotel are fantastic. They do any thing for you to be happy.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights. We enjoyed that restaurants, bars and shops were all within walking distance. Also, there is a lift for park city mtn within a few blocks. You can rent skis on main st, there are lockers to put shoes, valuables etc. right by the town lift, and a ticket window, if you don't already have lift tix. Hotel was very convenient, very nice rooms, kitchen, hottub- excellent. Only bad thing is that you can hear anyone out in the hallway and if you are on the street side you will hear people leaving bars into the wee hours of the morning, so you might want to request a room on overlooking the courtyard and not the street. Overall very excellent hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Room slept 3 in individual beds. Location was prime step out the front door to main street (bars, dining, shopping) parking right underneath the building. Hot Tub is the size of a pool.

These units have been recently upgraded and are very tastefully and comfortably arranged. The bath tub is big enough to lie down in (always a plus) and the shower head is high (my husband is 6'4"). The location can not be beat if you are a fan of old town Park City. The BEST candy shop in the area is right accross the street and there are quite a few great restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in a one bedroom unit that was a very spacious feeling 800 sq feet. The $ was equally appealing.

The room was spacious and clean and quiet. The fact that it was conveniently located was great. We also appreciated the fact that they are environmentally conscientious in terms of their business practices and building operations.

We do value your response thanks for taking the time to give feedback. We do hope we get a chance in the future for another visit. We are working on upgrades and improvements on hotel as a whole. As we have recently come to own the Treasure Mountain Inn, we do agree that some changes will better suite our guests. Thanks, TMI STAFF
