Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salt Lake City Airport

Needed a quick stay for a layover at SLC. This one was an inexpensive option. The staff was fast and kind, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room was bare bones though, with a loud fan in the bathroom, running motor in the fridge, and a shower head that sprays in clumps.

Excellent value and tons of space in my suite. Very comfortable. Good breakfast and attentive staff. Upholstery on the sofa needs replacing. Time for a renovation of plumbing system. But for value, a comfortable and convenient stopover near the airport. Will definitely stay there again.

We checked in at 8 pm and the room they gave us had not been cleaned yet!!! The second room was okay. The shower gel dispensers did not work. Had to pay to park over the weekend, unlike other hotels in the area.

I chose this hotel because it is very close to the main freeway going into the airport and there was a heavy snow storm coming in. They have a shuttle but beware it only runs every hour on the hour and you need to let them know in advance so plan accordingly. The room was small but nice. There was some noise in the morning from the hallway, but nothing too bad. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Late check in and arrival around 1:30 am. Hair throughout the room and bath, gum smeared on carpet, refrigerator had a loud, whining noise and has to be turned off, area between beds smelled like vomit, nail polish on bathroom counter, holes in bed sheets. It was too late to find other accommodations so slept as best as possible under the conditions. I had planned on sleeping till around 9:30, as check out is at 11:00, but housekeeping was knocking at the door at 8:00 am! Unacceptable.

The hotel was a little cheaper than other comparable hotels but also offered breakfast which I needed since I didn't have time to stop. The rooms were a little dated but the mattress was pretty comfy. The bathroom had some wear and tear.

They were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Quiet. Could get a good nights sleep.

Van pickup from the airport came fairly quickly. Cheaper than most other places near the airport, so don't expect spacious or extra comforts. Had a little noise from rooms beside/above, but not bad. Huge plus: the room A/C worked great!

Breakfast is very disappointing with not many working amenities in the room.

Front desk help was not helpful. When I arrived, she continued to rearrange tables for the breakfast area. I stood there for a good five minutes. I was unaware of the $100 refundable deposit and when I asked to use my husband's card, the front desk woman told me no. I asked her if there was anything else I could do and she once again said no. I left the hotel and called my husband. He called the hotel and the woman told him that I yelled at her and stomped out of the hotel. That was a lie. She then informed him of a way I could pay the refundable deposit. I returned to the hotel and she was not apologetic or helpful. I will never stay there again.

Small as expected, but clean and comfortable. Just what we wanted.

Overall it was a nice place. If you check into a Micro tel you should not be expecting a Ritz-Carlton. The only issue I had was that the rooms AC was loud and ra.ttled

Easy check in very friendly staff. Room was nice size and clean. Would stay again.

Late check in but front desk/night audit was friendly and helpful when I got lost. :-)

Stay was improved from a year ago. Breakfast area well stocked with food, clerk explained all my questions and driver was pleasant.

Good value for the location, some of the facility needs repair but for the price no complaints

Had never stayed here before and was concerned about the low rate. The ratings were pretty good so we decided to give it a try. The first thing that was a pleasant surprise was how nice the two young ladies at the front desk were. They were polite, happy, and seemed like they enjoyed being there. The room was great. It was clean and neat and it was quiet. We only stayed one night but we will not hesitate to use this location again.

Check-in was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and polite. In the room, the desk was immediately beneath the TV, making it kind of close to work at the desk and watch the TV. The breakfast was nothing to rave about. The sausage was undercooked. Some eggs and cheese would be nice to fix a biscuit sandwich. One of the 2 choices of cereal was kind of strange--cocoa puffs with sweetened shredded wheat bites mixed in.

We loved it the breakfast wasn't that good but the beds are AWESOME loved it and the staff were very nice and it was all and all a good place to stay .

Booked for two double beds, but had me for only one. Made adjustment and experience was good afterward. Pleasant helpful staff.
