Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Salt Lake City Airport

Very near SLC airport. Great full service restaurant nearly across the street. Shuttle service worked well for us as our flight was delayed 4 hours in San Francisco making it nearly midnight when we got in. Comfortable beds and a nice touch of 4am coffee and bagels available for our early flight. Hotel staff was very accommodating and polite.

Although we booked a king bed room, we were assigned to a king bed/handicap accessible room. As it was 3:00 am, we did not ask for a new room. The bed was reasonably comfortable, but the bathroom was awful. Towels & sheets were not soft, there were no shelves or counters for toiletries to rest on. The handicap accessible shower had a curtain that did not reach the floor, so the floor became soaking wet. I would NOT book this hotel again. It is clean, but dated and not at all comfortable.

I think the hotel staff were pretty good to us, so that's what is keeping me from doing a totally awful review. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom wasn't thoroughly clean at all. There was hair everywhere from either the previous guest or the cleaning staff. There was a mysterious splotch above the toilet (no one would be able to see this from any vantage point except the tub). I went to bathe after we checked in and the water was lukewarm, at best. We had to put down a $100 deposit, which I found ridiculous for the state the room was in to begin with--I've stayed in nicer hotels that do this and rightfully so or nicer hotels that don't do this at all. Even if it's fully refundable.

Flight was cancelled and could not make it to SLC or this hotel. Called hotel to explain and to see if I could reschedule for a later date and not loose the check-in fee. Was told they could not help me. Very disappointed.

Good. Nice staff. Quiet.easy access to shopping and restaurants

Really good place to stay near the SLC airport. Room was very nice, quite impressive actually for the price range. Would certainly stay there again.

This was an excellent place, near the airport. Nice breakfast and shuttle to airport. Also able to leave car during trip.

Needed a quick stay for a layover at SLC. This one was an inexpensive option. The staff was fast and kind, the rooms were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The room was bare bones though, with a loud fan in the bathroom, running motor in the fridge, and a shower head that sprays in clumps.

Excellent value and tons of space in my suite. Very comfortable. Good breakfast and attentive staff. Upholstery on the sofa needs replacing. Time for a renovation of plumbing system. But for value, a comfortable and convenient stopover near the airport. Will definitely stay there again.

We checked in at 8 pm and the room they gave us had not been cleaned yet!!! The second room was okay. The shower gel dispensers did not work. Had to pay to park over the weekend, unlike other hotels in the area.

I chose this hotel because it is very close to the main freeway going into the airport and there was a heavy snow storm coming in. They have a shuttle but beware it only runs every hour on the hour and you need to let them know in advance so plan accordingly. The room was small but nice. There was some noise in the morning from the hallway, but nothing too bad. I would definitely use this hotel again.

Late check in and arrival around 1:30 am. Hair throughout the room and bath, gum smeared on carpet, refrigerator had a loud, whining noise and has to be turned off, area between beds smelled like vomit, nail polish on bathroom counter, holes in bed sheets. It was too late to find other accommodations so slept as best as possible under the conditions. I had planned on sleeping till around 9:30, as check out is at 11:00, but housekeeping was knocking at the door at 8:00 am! Unacceptable.

The hotel was a little cheaper than other comparable hotels but also offered breakfast which I needed since I didn't have time to stop. The rooms were a little dated but the mattress was pretty comfy. The bathroom had some wear and tear.

They were very helpful. Breakfast was nice. Quiet. Could get a good nights sleep.

Van pickup from the airport came fairly quickly. Cheaper than most other places near the airport, so don't expect spacious or extra comforts. Had a little noise from rooms beside/above, but not bad. Huge plus: the room A/C worked great!

Breakfast is very disappointing with not many working amenities in the room.

Front desk help was not helpful. When I arrived, she continued to rearrange tables for the breakfast area. I stood there for a good five minutes. I was unaware of the $100 refundable deposit and when I asked to use my husband's card, the front desk woman told me no. I asked her if there was anything else I could do and she once again said no. I left the hotel and called my husband. He called the hotel and the woman told him that I yelled at her and stomped out of the hotel. That was a lie. She then informed him of a way I could pay the refundable deposit. I returned to the hotel and she was not apologetic or helpful. I will never stay there again.

Small as expected, but clean and comfortable. Just what we wanted.

Overall it was a nice place. If you check into a Micro tel you should not be expecting a Ritz-Carlton. The only issue I had was that the rooms AC was loud and ra.ttled

Easy check in very friendly staff. Room was nice size and clean. Would stay again.
