My parents and I stayed at comfort inn in reading PA last week for three nights. The staff there are very helpful and kind and they worked with us through our problems. The room we first got had an issue with the TV and the toilet wouldn't flush. We moved to a new room (which the front desk lady was extremely helpful to us). This new room reamed of cigarette smoke and the air conditioner didn't work. We moved to a third room which was much better but the floors were wet feeling. Overall, the stay here was nice. We just had to get the right room and I am very thankful that the employees there were so kind and helpful to us. I also really liked the continental breakfast that they offered.

We'll where do l start! The room was very small, ensuite was ok. Went to bed to noise from above then woke in the night and could hear snoring from another room. I think there should be some sound proofing. Next morning we had to cook our own breakfast!!! There was a small supply of cereal, and fruit, bacon sausages and eggs in the fridge and we had to help ourselves. There were no instructions how to use the cooker and hob, we asked but the staff managed to work the honour but not the grill. The only noticed were telling us to clear up after ourselves . We were not told of this when we booked. I will not stay there again. It is a health hazard.

We were only there for one night and everything was great. The girls at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Typical breakfast, liked the French toast. Only minor complaint, I could not get used to the pillows. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay, time away for family. Friendly & helpful staff. shopping not far away. I do enjoy the helpful information that is shared when it is requested. Located near 12 & 222 was easy to find.

Let me start by saying I'm not a picky person. I don't expect to be treated like royalty. All I ask for in a hotel is a clean bed, hot shower and I expect hotel employees to treat me with respect. This hotel provided the clean bed (quite comfortable actually) , shower was hot but the people at the front desk were some of the nastiest people I've ever met in my life. It started when I first checked in. I had a small disagreement with Josie about the check in process. No big deal. Even though I felt I was right about the situation, I went along with her demands just to get myself into a room because I was tired and was not in the mood to argue. Her attitude towards me was not acceptable. She was very rude to me. One morning another employee named Janet was putting out items for breakfast when I noticed she had a kleenex in her hand and was blowing her nose. I asked her how she was feeling and she responded by saying she was just fine, but what happened next shocked me. When I turned to walk away I could CLEARLY hear her say "Jesus Christ! Am I allowed to blow my own nose?" I was taken aback so I asked her what her name was (for the purpose of this review). She said her name was Janet and I told her to have a nice day. First of all, I don't think that asking someone how they are doing is a bad thing to ask so I'm not sure why she responded to me in that manner. Second, when you are serving food for customers to consume, I don't think you should blow your nose and then immediately handle the food. Very unsanitary. To sum it up, the hotel itself was ok. I probably would have given 2 or 3 stars just based on the hotel alone but the lack of respect from employees forced me to write this bad review. I hope and pray my employer doesn't send me back to this hotel. Perhaps these ladies need some training on how to treat customers. My opinion, avoid this hotel.

The room is pretty clean but has a musty smell from having once been a smoking room didnt really bother me the check inn was ok the lady wasn't really welcoming but not rude not any extras here like you would find at 100 plus hotel and a hundred dollar cash deposit was strange great for 70 to 80 bucks not 100 wouldn't stay again would pay more somewere else for more extras

Stayed here for a wedding as it was mid-grade. I wasn't expecting anything fancy, but there's no elevator, stairs are duct taped. Room was musty smelling. The area isn't great. Odd placement. I expected simple, basic and clean. Sheets are stained. I'm never staying here again. It's "no smoking" but if you pay a fee you can smoke. (What's the point of that?)

My Son and I stayed here for a weekend during the WW2 Air Show. We are re-enactors out all day in the sun so we needed a place to relax after. The hotel we very comfortable and CLEAN. The continental breakfast was just right, nothing fancy but enough to get us to lunch. The staff was very nice and attended to our needs. The only fault was the slow wireless internet connection, but besides that it was fine. We will be staying here next year for sure.

Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room. Nice experience. Only spent one night but good value and breakfast was a nice bonus. Would have been nice to have dinner options available. We drove into an unsafe area unknowingly but overall a good experience.
