This is a great hotel! 100 years old building but super well-maintained. Very friend staff, very clean facility, the only drawback is parking. Hotel near several homeless shelters. With drug-users users around, parking on the streets near the hotel is not ideal.

I’ve had some poor experiences staying in downtown Portland before, but this hotel was a pleasant surprise. At first, I was a little worried about the long check-in line, but the staff handled it exceptionally well, professional, polite, and courteous throughout. Parking with the hotel is optional, but I highly recommend it. Everything is within walking distance, restaurants, shops, and the stadium (we were in town for a soccer game). The facility itself is clean, modern, and well maintained. Overall, a great stay, we’ll definitely be coming back!

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for downtown stay. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. However, the rooms, furniture, bathrooms etc. are worn out. It’s time to refurbished.

We honestly had a wonderful, welcoming experience since the moment we checked in. Anthony at check in was incredibly accommodating, personable, kind and went above and beyond to ensure our great stay. His customer service was excellent. The room itself has a great view. The decor was eccentric in the best way and the location couldn’t be beat. We would absolutely and gladly stay here again. This hotel didn't offer breakfast. Our room was mostly nice but the bathroom shower could have been cleaned better. The room had a coffee pot but didn't have any coffee/coffee supplies at all. Also, the coffee maker had old grounds left in the machine from a previous hotel guest, which is really unacceptable. If they have kitchen type equipment in the rooms, they need to be making sure that the cleaning staff are cleaning everything well in between guests. We were really disappointed with this especially.

I thought this was going to be a nice historic hotel downtown, however, our room was not very clean and all of the furniture and cabinets were damaged, the rug was coming up and the bathroom had mold in the shower. The area around the hotel also didn’t feel the safest. We were disappointed in this stay.
