Embassy Suites Pittsburgh International Airport

I like just about every thing with this hotel. When you walked into the lobby the staff greeted you and was very friendly, check in was fast, then you walked in and seen the water fall and the lazy water way in the middle of the hotel it was gorgeous. Every morning I look forward to the breakfast buffet it was the main reason I stayed at the embassy suite again. I would stay there every time I visit Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.

I was only there ONE night, so that limits my experience. Everything was clean and that's VERY important. Bed was "ok", but it usually takes a few nights to get used to a different bed. Light was out above shower, but I wonder if that's on purpose. People with disabilities will find some extra walking (or riding) because of hotel design. I thought the "reception area" when you enter the lobby, is rather dim. Are we trying to calm everyone down? Desk clerk was very nice and efficient. Breakfast (at 7:45) was nice, but typical of most hotels. Staff was very good. Overall, nice place. Due for some "freshening" - new carpet, etc.

very good stay and enjoyed the hotel and staff. I will stay at the hotel again in the future.

We had booked over a month in advance and notified them that we would be coming in later than checkin. When we got there they said they had no smoking rooms left. Ok, then why reserve one?? Then they put us in the very back of the hotel. There was a Reception going on and the place was a mess. There were glasses all over the courtyard, and in front where you could smoke there were ashtrays filled to the brim and glasses ALL over the place with no trash cans anywhere to be seen. Was NOT impressed. Will NOT stay there again, nor any Embassy Suites!

We were happy with the stay but disappointed there was an extra charge to park our car. I was under the impression when the reservation was made parking was included in the price. We had to pay an extra $40 since the reservation was not made thru hotel website which would have reduced the cost to $10.

Context is important here my wife and I booked a room for Valentine's night. We were so excited for all of it: the lovely lobby seating area by the fireplace, the relaxing koi pond, and privacy of a suite. Upon entering in the lobby was our first disappointment--the entire sitting area was filled with bags, people, and kids running around. It turns out, on Valentine's day no less, there was an enormous booking from some hockey tournament. With a parent to player ratio that appeared to be about 1:4, there were pre-teen kids in sweatpants literally running around the entire hotel. The adults had organized a "hallway party" outside of about a dozen adjoining rooms on our floor and they were drinking beer and eating out of simmering crock pots on the otherwise relaxing veranda. Instead of looking out over the waterfall and glass elevators, kids sprinting by and the smell of sausages kept us in the room. That'd be fine, but the heating of the suite seemed to be relegated to the first room and not the bedroom this, during a single-degree night in Pittsburgh. My wife and I are not complainers, and we had a wonderful weekend, but the atmosphere and comfort that we expected at Embassy Suites were totally lacking. Having it over again, I would have stayed elsewhere, for less $ and probably greater comfort!

The hotel was very nice, and the staff was very kind. My room was easy to find and very clean. I enjoyed the cocktail hour located right outside my room. My only complaint was that my room was kind of cold even after I turned the heat up to 73! Also the bathroom outside 446 lounge was freezing as well, bitterly cold and could nearly see my breath. Other than that my hotel experience was great.

Comfortable and nicely located. Good quality made to order complimenty breakfast. Nice restaurant in the hotel itself. Impressive lobby and decor. Hotel has invested in all the right things. Also has a pool and hymn though could not try it. Room cleanliness is only 1 thing that could be a bit better.

I loved walking into this hotel. The atrium is really incredible. The staff was nice, the breakfast and happy hour reception was a huge plus. I have two complaints: 1. housekeeping came into the room at 8:00 am, and it really scared me, and 2. The "complimentary" wifi cost $9.95. Overall it was a great experience, and I look forward to coming back!

Breakfast was great. Showers were terrible. It was a hand held shower with low pressure.

Great room. Friendly staff. Manager's reception and cooked to order omelette's a definete plus. Would highly recommend. Only stayed a night. Wish I was staying longer.

Can't beat the morning breakfast at Embassy Suites

Hotel was absolutely beautiful with its huge koi pond and waterfall. Breakfast was great and the service was outstanding. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Pittsburgh airport area.

Nice hotel overall but sofa bed seemed a bit overused so not very comfortable. Also, requested extra towels and pillows at 9pm, never received them despite 2 calls to the desk before 11. Lastly, disappointed that reservation was for 2 queen beds but they only had King bed available.

Upon pulling in to this Emabassy Suites, I saw a very nice looking hotel up top a hill. I parked my car and checked into my room. The room was OK, nothing special, but nice that it was a 2-room suite as they all are. Shower was clean, but water pressure was weak and sometimes the shower and has bursts on on-off moments. Flat screen TVs were nice. My only problem is that when I used to go the Embassy Suites, the food was SO MUCH better. This location has pretty bad food. The cooked to order breakfast is just a cooked to order omelet. The rest is a very cheap buffet style setup. The food was like eating at a college dorm room. Overall, for the price and the extra I paid at night for my meal, I was not particulary satisfied with this hotel. Its just OK. I must add that the swimming area was awful. Packed with kids (even after 10PM). I couldnt even use it as there were kids running around all over the place unsupervised.

We stayed here after a wedding reception. The rooms were ok, seemed to be recently remodeled. Beware of the noise, you can hear every sound outside in the parking lot. Free breakfast was nice, but it was incredibly crowded and the hot foods were nearly empty and what was left wasn't hot.

THE LOCATION WAS JUST GREAT AND WE ARRIVED AROUND NOON AND TO OUR SURPRISE WAS ABLE TO CHECK IN. THE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WAS VERY HELPFUL WITH DIRECTIONS TO IKEA. WE HAD AN EXCELLENT DINNER AT THE HOTEL RESTAURANT. OVERALL OUR EXPERIENCE WAS EXCEPTIONAL AND WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO OTHER TRAVELERS.

Very nice hotel in a great location. We went to Pittsburg for a weekend get away to do a little shopping and sight-seeing. The hotel is right off 376 and near IKEA and a host of other stores. It's also convenient to downtown. Rooms are very spacious and recently updated. We had a King suite. Hotel was bustling with several events in the indoor atrium, including a wedding. It was fun to look out our rooms into the atrium and see all the action. Lastly, the stay included a nice breakfast brunch and a manager's reception. We would definately stay there again.

This hotel is very family friendly -- good price and close to many recreation options. We booked it for a quick get-away without the kids, but next time we'll include them. We liked having a suite, where we could watch TV or work at the desk without disturbing each other. We liked that the rooms are further away from the open lobby area, it cuts down on any lobby noise. Breakfast is great.

reserved a non smoking. got a smoking. bad deal.
