The location is amazing being right across from the beach but that is where the good begins and ends with this hotel. The rooms are outdated and definitely need a more thorough cleaning. The shower head was covered in mold, there was mold on the ceiling above the shower, food left in the fridge from the previous guests, and what looked like urine stains in the wall next to the toilet. Needless to say this was our first and last stay here.

Although this is an older hotel that has its issues, the staff and accommodations are outstanding. We found free bike, kayak and paddle boat rentals offered to guest. Also they offered a free breakfast that was beyond the typical.

I appreciate that the hotel took precautions for COVID-19. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Great stay!

Overall I was happy with the stay and will likely come back for a longer weekend trip. It was affordable, especially considering Labor Day weekend, and the location was perfect, just a few minute walk across to the beach with several restaurants and bars also close by. The rooms are minimal and show some age, but the bed was very comfortable and there is a fridge, microwave, and TV. Unfortunately, the first room we were given had not yet been touched by housekeeping, which was slightly irritating, but the staff quickly gave us another. This new room had clearly been mopped and its surfaces wiped down and smelled nicely of bleach, although there was still sand in the nooks and crannies. The public areas of the hotel were clean and looked updated, and the staff was very nice. Considering that it is a budget hotel, I think it is perfect for a short beach getaway, a comfortable place to sleep and store belongings while enjoying the island.

Give it 4.5/5 stars.. we got an insane discount and it’s proximity to the beach was awesome. The room was clean and they did their best to modify the complimentary breakfast. Only issue was they were out of towels one morning. The staff was great!

This was our first time staying here and we were kind of iffy due to the other reviews but decided to stay based on location and because they were pet friendly (we brought our fur baby). PROS - The staff we’re very friendly, kind, and helpful (thank you all!) Breakfast was nice and the lady serving was awesome! The location was excellent as it was literally across from the pier, restaurants and shopping area! Parking can get packed at the boardwalk so walking there from the hotel was pleasant. The dog beach was about 5 mins away. The ice machines were convenient and used it daily to fill up our beach cooler. There’s a fridge in the room. There’s a pool, a little private “beach” area, and grassy areas for your pets as well. CONS - The rooms weren’t the best but you get what you pay for. I did find hair in the sink area. The walls were def thin so you could hear other guests if you have a shared wall. There’s a bar/restaurant next door so you’ll hear the live music and bass. Also, I’m not sure if they have the 24 hour vacancy “rule” for rooms in between stays because the room next to us checked out on a Sat and then new guests arrived the same day (??). If you just need a place to crash and get ready but want to be near everything, then this is the place (if you don’t mind other noises here and there).

Friendly staff, Good breakfast, very convenient 5 minute walk to the beautiful Pensacola beach.

I love this place. Been there a few times, it's all about location. Everything walking distance.

This is the dirties hotel I've been in ever. Nobody came to make beds or change towels after 1st night, bedding was dirty, walls scratched up, and rust in the bathroom. This hotel needs a serious renovation and management change... I advice to pay $50-70 more per night and get a better hotel.

The room was not cleaned at all before check in. Not even sure the sheets were fresh.

Location to beach was excellent but hotel was quite a bit dirty and unclean

The location and view was perfect. The cleanliness of the room was not so good. We had to call down to the office multiple times in regards to blood or some type of red sauce on the walls in various spots when we first got our room. We called down to the office and nobody came for a long time so we cleaned it ourself. We also noticed trash that consisted of Cups and liquor bottles that were left in the cabinet. Also the next morning we woke up and noticed that there was blood on the sheets indicating that it had not been washed and was probably the same blood that was on the walls from customers before. We called down to the office once again and nobody came and cleaned our room until way later in the day. We also had to call because the toilet had not been cleaned and there was clearly pee on the toilet seat from people before us. When we saw the cleaning lady in the hall she said if there are any other issues to just let her know because she is getting in trouble with the office .... disappointed in the cleanliness and response of complaints. I paid a lot of money including about $100 in resort fees...

the location was with in walking distance of many activities .

Staff was pleasant, clean property. Breakfaat was good.

Nice location next to the beach. The staff were all really great. However, families beware, there is a bar right next door with loud live music until the early hours. This was very difficult to deal with when trying to get a 1 year old to sleep. We wish we had known it beforehand!

Housekeeping was poor,i had to ask for towels, trash still on floor, didnt replace coffee used.

Good friendly stuff- like and good continental breakfast. No like- the walls is very old and broken. No good bathroom.

This hotel is very close to the beach (about a 2 min walk). I also very much enjoyed being able to paddleboard and kayak for free thanks to the hotel's free 60-minute rentals. We even saw a dolphin while we were kayaking.

the stool was stopped up the whole time i was there. had to use plunger in order to use the bathroom. was not very handy. they had maintenance look at a few times never was fixed.
