Staff was friendly, hotel had a pool and pool bar and restaurant. A little weird though thatcthe bartender was also the guy bringing food to the tables in the restaurant. Felt bad for the guy, he was running around crazy. The bar was not in a lounge though and it felt like I was sitting at a diner counter. Much nicer set-up and bat at the Sheraton across the street. I went there most nights. But for the price, Red Lion had a nice room with a much needed microwave and fridge. Bed was pretty comfortable too. Room was clean. Bathroom was a bit dirty with hair on floor but not terrible. I'd book again just because of the price and hang out across the street at the Sheraton.

This hotel is nice for the price. The room was small not much room other than the beds, but quiet and the beds were ok. The hotel was clean and the pool was a nice saltwater pool. After walking around Disneyland all day, it felt like a long walk back to the hotel.

No hot water and tub was flooding. Also found food wrappers under the bed.

The hotel is older and patched together. Elevator floor had tape on it. It was stated that they are under construction

We stayed on the fourth floor. The hall smelled like pee. Our room was fairly clean. We purchased it through Orbitz, so the price was good for us. The breakfast was okay, I ate the oatmeal, but the fruit was old and the eggs were very dry. If it;s luxury you want, it;s not here. This is a good hotel to stay in to be close to Disneyland. The overnight parking is $15.00. So it's better to park at the hotel and walk over to Disneyland vs. paying $17 at Disneyland and the hotel $15.00

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great location, can walk to Disneyland and many restaurants. Comfortable rooms!

Good experience...staff very nice, clean room, and nice view.

You can totally find a better room at the same price else where. Not worth it. Everything was a no for me. Dirty, messy, smelly. Room service doesn't really clean, all they do is replace new towels and makes the bed. No replacing sheets or vacuuming the room. They didn't even take out our garbage! Totally don't recommend.

Frig didn't work....I have.insulin that needed.to be refrigerated. I requested handicap room when i booked the room, as I have trouble standing, no handicap room was reserved n was given a room farthest from elevator, The Front Desk was the rudest Employee I have ever encountered. Never stay at Red Lion ever again!!!! Remove them from Your website!!! ...

I recently stayed at the red Lion and it was an overall good experience, the area and hotel it self is such a warm and welcomeing area.

Room was clean. Staff was nice. Only issue was trying to call for room service and it took over 5 minutes for someone to answer.

The staff was great. The reason picking this place was due to the proximity to Disneyland. It worked out well. The hotel staff was great, in the time I was there they handled rude customers great. After check in was a bit disappointing. The room, although I could use the word clean it was just enough. I found cockroaches in the tub, but I am sure that happens due to the sewage line. However the carpet and sheets had old stains. Also trying to sleep was pretty hard I could hear everything in the adjacent rooms. Bedsprings, foot steps, and even the elevator going up and down through out the night. The breakfast was lacking, but it was free so not sure I can completely complain. I have stayed in other hotels which had better selection but near disneyland not sure many include breakfast.

Title says it all. But I will start with Pros: 1. Location isn't bad, they have a bus that stops right in front and drops you right at Disneyland. ($5 a day, $3 for kids) Rooms have fridge and microwave. Food and drugstores all in walking distance. The price, if you're on a real budget. Bring a lot of disinfectant wipes and pray. Cons: OUTDATED! First room was filthy to the point of extreme discomfort. The complementary water had been drank from! Extreme dust bunnies in the ac vent. They changed my room to a less filthy room but the second room's fridge was still dirty. I had to wipe down everything to feel comfortable. Listen, I've stayed in some bad hotels before, because how do you know it's that's bad until you stay right? Given the location of this Hotel and how much money I know they must generate, I would think they would invest more into it. It's in need of some serious remodeling and that isn't me trying to be uppidy about the situation but as far as competition goes, why would people walk the extra distance or pay the extra money just to have a clean room they feel comfortable in?

The wallpaper looks like bathroom tile, pillows are lumpy, and the safe wouldn't lock. It's ok if you walk in and go straight to bed, well except for the lumpy pillows... A step above a motel.

Staff was ok. Helpful when asked for help. Rooms are good. Bad water pressure in shower but very clean. No storage space so have to keep everything in your suitcases/bags. Nice quiet rooms. No neighbor or street noise. Easy walking distance from parks or have Art bus stop right out front. Nice pool.

Close to Disney, good value overall but several issues that make me give this a mediocre rating. Some of the staff at front desk didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The managers were good but it was hard to get a smile out of the rest of them, sad. Rooms while seem renovated still have a cheap motel feel to them both look and odor. The proximity to Disney is the key and not spending much time in the hotel. If you are just looking for a simple place to sleep and eating outside the hotel it's a decent choice.

The Red Lion is within walking distance to the front gate of Disneyland, with a "dart" bus stop out front and within a 5 minute walk to the "Disney" free shuttle parking lot. The Hotel staff were always nice and very helpful. The hotel offered free breakfast....that's true, but it seemed to be offered through a third party, which forced you to fill out vouchers every day for everyone in your party causing a LONG delay...finally many of the guests like us just left and did not use the free breakfast

Great location, nice rooms, friendly front desk staff, great pool. Restaurant/bar staff understaffed so long wait for drinks, but otherwise wonderful service.

The hotel is a little dated. However, the staff were great and the hotel was surprisingly quiet. The room was a bit dated with old furniture but managed to make it comfy.

Nice hotel. Closer to Disneyland then I thought which was a pleasant surprise
