Room was not clean. Towel from previous guests was still on the floor behind the door, tissue was stuffed in the peephole, and surfaces were clearly not cleaned off (sticky substance was all over the desk). Ended up not staying, as it was clearly not sanitary.

Our room had no chair for the desk; no guide for the television; the outlets on the desk and bed lamps were not functioning because they were mismanufactured (too loose for the plugs to make contact); and the breakfasts were not up to Marriot standards. I see no reason to be interested to stay at any Marriot properties in the future. M disappointing when I told the desk clerk he seemed to be aware of the chair and plug issue.
Pool was cold. pool area too hot. No whirlpool as seen in photos. Bathroom fixtures low grade quality, toilet ran. Bathroom layout uncomfortable.
The hotel advertised having a restaurant that served breakfast. It does not. There a bar that will take breakfast orders. The line was really long. The wait for the food was too long. It was really expensive and not worth it.
The hotel has a large gathering area in the lobby and entry. The snack bar offers a variety of coffee drinks, cocktails and quick food options. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Had to stay here without planning, I had no basic toiletry such as toothbrush, toothpaste, cotton swab, etc. Most name chain hotels provide these as a complimentary for those who didn't plan on staying at a hotel, but the desk simply refused and told us we could purchase them from their convenience store located on the lobby. Room was clean, the bed is super comfortable, overall nice place. Seriously, I would stay here again given that I had toothbrush and toothpaste handy. But I will probably never stay here again.
Clearly this location has been recently remodeled. But simply putting new carpet, updating the lobby and rearranging furniture did not solve the problems we had. When I booked this room on a month ago, it advertised a microwave and fridge in every room and complimentary breakfast. None of these were true. We asked for a fridge and they brought us an old smelly loud unit that kept stuff cold but has been well loved. The first morning, I went for breakfast there was nothing complimentary. I waited at the "café" counter for 10 minutes before someone came and paid $13 for scrambled eggs with no extras or flavor and two dried over cooked turkey sausage that resembled something more like beef jerky. The room itself was clean but not well set up. The TV was at a weird angle from the bed and the room was freezing. I normally don't require a blanket, but the windows even with the curtains closed were extremely drafty and with the thermostat set at 76 degrees it barely kept the room warm during the night. I am normally a very warm person and it was cold for even me.
