My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We were in the Presidential Grand Villa. It was a spacious 2 bedroom condo with all the amenties one would need while away from home. The property was clean and the staff attentive. They served Thanksgiving dinner and had activitues lined up each day.
I didn't like the fact that WHOEVER was above us were very loud and inconsiderate
I loved the privacy and the ability to prepare my own meals for my family
The rooms in the villa are spacious, there are a lot od ammenities that the whole family can enjoy. Wi-fi is slow and no signal at times.
The property was amazing. The hotel was hriendly and he water park. I think i left my pad there My friend told me we should drive up there and get it (staying overnight again in the process....) Yes that good
This hotel awesome and have many free activities for kids. We had a Great time and it was our 1st stay
I chose this place for a romantic getaway based on the pictures and descriptions. We're way too awesome to let a disappointing stay ruin our getaway... but it could have happened. First, the photos on the room at the time I booked were not correct. There is no such thing as a room at the hotel with a king sized bed. They are all 2 queens. Also, out of 100+ photos of the resort, there is not one photo of a building without a balcony, yet that's the building we were in. If it doesn't say balcony or patio, there isn't one. (I know, I should have known that.) When I hear the word "resort" I think of a lot of things... none of those things were there except the ridiculous timeshare presentation they will talk you into. They say it is 90 minutes, which seemed doable even on a very short stay... but my meeting lasted 3hrs. And when I said I couldn't afford what was proposed (I didn't get to hear a price until 2.5hrs in) they kept offering smaller packages until I finally said "My brain is so on overload right now anything you try to sell me is going to be a no." Just over 3hrs out of our 40hr getaway. We got a gift in return for going, but I would have said no if I had known it would take 3 hours. Many activities were closed during the week (like horseback riding.) All amenities (pools, laundry, food, etc) are spread across the grounds, not convenient. Also at least 25min from anything you want to see off-resort. May be good for big families to get together in one place.
Our room key would deactivate after every use so had to have them come fix it after 3rd time. Water moccosins on the bank at lake and at river. Other then that beautiful place great staff will stay again
