Were from Florida and they put us in the room furthest from the restaurant. There are no inside hallways. Yes you have to walk outside to get to the lobby or restaurant. Were told breakfast at 6. Got there at 6 all doors locked and a sign saying lobby ipens at 6:30. Not image I had when we booked.
The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was good. The people around us were noisy and someone put hand prints and mouth marks all over our vintage car.
Everything was good.
There was a soft high pitch ringing in our room that would not stop. Otherwise, it was a good stay.
Would stay every time I come into town only thing wrong is restaurant is high
Breakfast was awesome and so was the pool. My kids left their stuffed animals on the bed and they were tucked in when we got back
Room updated very nicely, but they left out the most important thing, the linens. If you’re going to do a complete update, please replace the linens. They were clean, but fabric was pilled. New pillows and sheets would finish the renovation.
This hotel has more of a motel feel. I was uneasy about the attention that was paid to the room. Our bedside light was burned out and the desk clerk didn't know where the replacement light bulbs were. It took a while to get connected to the wi-fi. It finally worked after the fifth try. Most importantly and definitely disgusting - There was a huge soap ring around the bathtub. It didn't look like the tub had been cleaned at all. That gave me the heebie jeebies and made me wonder what other steps were skipped by housekeeping. We've all seen those investigative reports that uncovers how hotels skip steps. That's all I could think about the entire time I was there. Maybe I'm spoiled, but I expect better.
