The door jam looked like it had been broken into. I did not feel secure. No one checked our room after the last guest left. I was ready to take a shower and there were no bath towels...only hand towels. They need to step it up.
The pool was extremely cold. The hot tub was only a "warm" tub. The pool room was also very cold & uncomfortable. Management was put out when I asked for towels. They waited to clean the hot tub until Monday morning when the pool opened. Should have been done overnight. Fitness equipment was very outdated & broken. Room & halls smelled like smoke. The room was clean but the amenities were terrible. Breakfast was only ok. Only fake eggs & waffles. Staff was very unfriendly. Has potential of being a very nice hotel with some of these changes.
I made this reservation online. I requested a non-smoking room on the first floor. The attendant, put us in a smoking room and the keys did not work. I had to go back to the attendant 3 times to fix one thing or another. Once I finally got into the room, the bathroom was dirty, the TV remote did not work nor did a number of the lights. On the plus side, morning breakfast provided the necessaties but other hotel chains offer a wider selection.
The room's cutains didn't close. The bed was uncomfortable. The carpet was finished.
