The hotel is very dated and old. However, the room and bathroom was clean. The food at the Summit was average with no taste. The pool was the best part of the vacation.

When we were in our original room (322), we had wasps on the window on the inside of the room which was a real downer so I requested a new room and we got moved to Room 329 which was a lot better. The beds could've been better but the overall stay was a 3.5/5 star.

Overall great stay

First trip to Galena end of September. Didn’t realize that the hotel was a bit further out from the main downtown restaurants and shops. Overall a good experience, hotels is a bit dated in some areas but some of the rooms are a bit updated. No elevator in the hotel and WiFi and phone service were a bit shotty. Beautifully decorated for fall. Great views, lots to do at the hotel. We did the Alpine slide and soaring eagle

They had a bucket catching water from a ceiling leak in the ski room/locker room. The amenities as far as the slide & ski lift are only avaliable on Saturday and Sunday which is ridiculous i dont know how they can call themselves a resort

Things i liked: The room was extremely clean. The pillows were soft. The staff were extremely nice. The resort had incredible views. I like that its secluded & quiet. Things i didnt like. They have no elevator. We were floors up & had to bring up our luggage. The bedrooms & bathrooms were extremely dated however extremely clean.
