2/10 Terrible

We were staying here after a birthday celebration and were woken up by the fire alarm screaming for the first time at midnight. It went off for about 10 minutes, we went down to the front desk and they said it was a faulty heat sensor on the higher floors and that they were trying to fix it. Awesome, so we go back to our room, wait for the screeching to stop and fall back asleep.
The alarm goes screaming off again at 3:30 AM, this time for about 30 minutes. Go to the front desk again and the poor lady is holding two phones trying to reassure parents with little kids that everything was fine and they were trying to fix the alarm. Awesome we go back to bed with the only consolation prize being that at least we would get a refund in the morning after being woken up twice by a faulty sensor.
We go down to get breakfast in the morning and I wait for my wife to leave before I talk to the front desk because she doesn't like confrontation. I asked the front desk, who turns out to be the general manager, if I talk to her about a refund or if I should call the corporate number.
She goes through her speech and says because it was a safety issue, which cannot be considered their fault, they were not issuing refunds or any compensation at all.
On top of that, there was some kind of clicking off and on in the wall, I'm assuming from the pipes in the walls, all night and into the morning.
10/10 would not recommend. I can't even imagine how those with kids handled that last night.
