The hotel was a very cute and clean. Our stay was great only downside was waiting 20 minutes for someone to appear at the front desk so we could check in after driving 4 hours.

The room was clean, although it smelled musty when we walked in, it didn't aggravate my allergies so it couldn't have been mold. The pillows and bed were very comfortable! The library and the view from it were lovely and the pool and hot tub seemed nice.

Extremely clean room, lovely staff, and the pub being there was awesome. We were on the first floor and didn’t hear any noise from the pub. They put chocolate bags on the bed for V Day. Always have coffee and tea available and do teatime in the afternoons. Beautiful library in lobby as well. Highly recommend!

Fireplace, tv and whirlpool tub only partially worked. Shower was a bit dirty. Room was beautiful and linens were very comfy. Lobby amenities were great. Just a few things not working that brought the trip down a bit.

The room was clean, the bed was so comfortable. The shuttle bus to downtown was so nice and the driver was so friendly, all the staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast was so delicious. We are definitely going to be staying there again when we go back to galena.

The staff was very kind upon arrival and throughout the stay. Their attentiveness made us feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment we checked in. Rooms were clean and quiet, providing a restful atmosphere for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was filling and very good, with the main plate was cooked fresh. It was not your average buffet that you typically see at hotels, as the quality and presentation exceeded expectations. I appreciated the attention to detail and the pleasant dining experience. Would stay here again.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a great trail behind the hotel through some pines trees it was very beautiful. The sunset from the patio was picturesque and the all the staff was very helpful and inviting, especially Rachel who was working the front desk.
