Nice property in downtown where you could walk to numerous retail opportunities
We were driving a truck with a trailer and could not fit in the ramp, the night managers was very helpful in finding us a place to park overnight. Excellent service.
Need maps and tourism info
We were on the Neil St side and it was a little noisy from the outdoor eating establishments for us. If we return we may ask to be on the other side of the hotel.
Love the accessibility to all the restaurants and eateries!
Breakfast was limited due to Covid, and the daily appearance of homeless people at the free coffee bar. Shower doors need new rollers.
Hotel was ok. Nice that it was right in downtown area by restaurants. However, pool wasn't open due to covid and that was disappointing.
First class would be twice the price in downtown Chicago
The rooms were really clean and nicely decorated. Staff was attentive. Location was great for walking around town.
Did not have the type of unit I reserved available the first evening. Also had a domestic disturbance in the unit adjacent that lasted about an hour.
This is my default lodging location when I stay in Champaign-Urbana, and it should yours too.
Genuinely friendly staff all around, very helpful with local information.
Great location! Always enjoy our stay here. One of the front desk attendants weirdly followed my friend back to his room though. It was very strange and made us both uncomfortable.
We had to pay an extra $15 for breakfast and then it turns out everyone gets free breakfast. What the heck... not fair! And then the breakfast was terrible very little to choose from. The pool was so small and no hot tub. I stayed at the comfort in on my way down and that was a better stay!
The sheets were itchy, the pillows were uncomfortable and the parking was $9 for the night. The hotel was clean and in good shape. Breakfast was decent. The walls and doors must be thin because I could hear doors close and people walking down the hall. Definitely nothing special.
I was pleasantly surprised. I normally stay in a Marriott, but the Hyatt was closer to the hospital. My only concern was the elevator and the parking. The parking garage was very icy.
Modern hotel in downtown Champaign. Near U of I campus. Very nice breakfast spread. Local food/beverage nearby.

We are glad to hear that you enjoyed Downtown Champaign and all the restaurants it has to offer. We hate having to deny guests access to our pool. We hope that it will be very soon though.
