Hilton Garden Inn Champaign/Urbana

This hotel wasn't plush or spanking new, but it was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Add to that, it was conveniently located to Champaign's downtown - not close enough to walk, but a short drive away. Moreover, we got the same room rate for three adults that we would have paid for two and no extra charge for the rollaway. Rollaway stood on end and did not fold, but that made it more comfortable than most. Cons: Designer didn't think through last reno on the bathroom vanity counter. Could seriously bang a hip! (We marked it with trash cans so as to not run into at night.) Would recommend they have granite specialist round it off until next reno. Also, we had to close the blackout curtains with a safety pin or it would have let in an unacceptable amount of light. Minor issues which we overcame. Breakfast was not free - $7.99 for cold, $12.99 for hot, but we went next door for cold brew coffee and scones.

Great stay here. Beyond clean and comfortable. My new home in Champaign, IL.

Good hotel with friendly staff, clean room. Very accommodating after driving through a snow storm and making a late arrival.

Room was quite cold, heat turned off at night. Bathroom never got cold. Dated TV. Overpriced meal offerings. Many better properties available at the same price.

We stayed one night in Champaign and were very pleased with the accommodations. The fitness center was spacious with 6 or 7 cardio machines plus two weight lifting towers, free weights, 2 exercise balls and yoga mats. There was plenty of floor space to spread out as well. The pool was about 15 feet long and good if you want to get your feet wet. They also had a hot tub which we did not use. The breakfast looked and smelled amazing with eggs made to order, freah fruit, waffle maker and pastries.

Always friendly staff and clean rooms. nice breakfast in the AM

staff in restaurant was super helpfull,,,we were close to stadium, food was great,,,perfect for what we needed,

Friendly staff, wonderful service, beautiful and comfortable rooms....I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Check-in went smoothly but I had to wait a bit as there were a few parties ahead of me and only one front desk clerk but she was very calm and friendly to all guests. The room was great and had a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Even with two other wedding groups in the hotel, the only noise I heard was the flushing of someone else's toilet. The price was a little more than I would have expected to pay but I was close to the university. I would stay here again if I was coming back to the area and needed to stay in a hotel.

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding and it was great - the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. A great spot if you find yourself in the Champaign/Urbana area.

This hotel was great. We came for the basketball game. It was easy to walk to Assembly Hall and coming home was a breeze. We watched others struggle with parking and waiting to leave.... not us!

Attended a wedding at U of I campus. Great location to campus. Room was spacious modern and clean. First time to Champaign-Urbana. Easy to get to and central location for exploring.
