Property was nice. We stayed there in 2016 and it was very pretty then. I think the charge for parking is unnecessary, but I get it, they’re near the university. The room was large and clean.

Stayed one night. Room was clean and quiet. You can hear the trains passing, but not a big deal. Check-in was simple, and front desk accommodated our request for a quiet room. Area around hotel is fine, close to campus, easy parking.
Overall our brief stay was a nice one. However, though a non-smoking hotel, there was a strong cigarette smoke odor in our room. Also, we feel $50.00 pet fee is pretty steep, especially for one night. We spent 5 nights at our destination and the pet fee was half of what we paid at this hotel.
Getting housekeeping done in my room was difficult. Getting it done properly was nearly impossible. A clean room is a basic, expected service in any hotel room. In a Hilton, it should be invisible and not require multiple requests to management for performance. Not only was my room housekeeping an issue, but their was a bag of trash sitting in the ice machine room that I reported to the front desk on the day of my arrival, and daily after that. That bag, filled with fast food refuse, sat there in plain sight until I placed it in the can adjacent to the elevator on the 5th night of my stay. It was beginning to stink. Adding insult to injury was the 4" square message label affixed to the bath room mirror with the title "Customize Your Clean" (Note to bone headed Hilton Execs: anything less than complete, perfect housekeeping is construed by the seasoned traveler as a reduction in service which should be matched by a commensurate reduction in price, not marketed as a benefit! How tacky! Barron must be rolling in his grave!) The label goes on: "For your comfort, we want your stay to be as undisturbed as possible, so we will only provide housekeeping upon your request". What market research revealed to Hilton that customers find a clean and freshly serviced room disturbing? It sounds more like a horrible concept developed by a mid level exec in accounting to slow the Covid bleeding. Trying to sell this reduction in service as a benefit is an insult to the customer.

Excellent hotel and room stay. We felt safe in the area. The hallways were quiet and we didn't hear any neighboring rooms. The carpet, linens and bathroom was clean. The bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly.
