Excellent service and suite, there is also plenty of other restaurants in the area..also close to the U of I campus. We very much enjoyed our stay, and we look forward to coming back to Champaign-Urbana
The room is great and th little kitchen is good. I opened a drawer to put my clothes in but it was dirty and had some ladies knickers in it. I opened the dishwasher and found dirty dishes in it. I mentioned it to reception who ran the washer (so now it had clean dishes in it) and perhaps wiped the drawer but left the contents... The breakfast is all prepacked in plastic containers apart from some boiled eggs. This was completely inedible for me as I do not eat dairy or whet and all packages had either wheat or cheese. They were not well labeled - I mentioned this to the staff but they did not seem to understand the problem or care. The harvest market is nearby though and is a great place to pick up anything. Gym only had one yoga mat.
We wanted to stay here due to proximity to things we wanted to do and although it was a nice hotel, we were very disappointed in the indoor pool. It was small and very COLD! Our grandkids desperately wanted to swim, and tried their best, but it wasn’t a fun part of the trip. Our frig leaked a little water on the floor but our room was clean, comfy and well appointed. Breakfast was fine. But we’d had better breakfast at cheaper hotels
First time staying in. Home2 suites. Probably will avoid them in the future Room was not clean there were towel threads or dental floss in the corner by the shower (see attached photo) Barn door for bathroom was so sticky that we almost got stuck in the bathroom TV signal very blurred on with the weather channel Breakfast bar is set up so there’s too much congestion near the serving line: the table for eating is too close There are no breakfast meats on the breakfast bar unless you get a microwavable sandwich
While the rooms look great, I was shocked just how dirty my room was upon arrival. I had no clean the surfaces throughout in order to feel 'at home.' The staff is not warm and friendly, and didn't care about our experience at the hotel. I appreciate good service, and would not recommend staying here.
This is a beautiful, clean hotel! You would never know pets are allowed, that's how clean it is overall! The staff is kind and helpful, and the breakfast is awesome! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her crate so I could go to my sons graduation. I also loved the kitchen and the full size fridge and coffeemaker!
This was my second time staying at this location. The staff is always nice and the hotel is well kept. I enjoyed the continental breakfast and the kiwi strawberry water is AHHHHMAZING! My only complaint was I noticed a small bit of black buildup that could possibly be mold at the bottom of the shower door.
Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, complete kitchen with a dishwasher, pool, workout room, and a complimentary breakfast with protein. We were able to plug in our Tesla Model 3 and were ready to travel the next day. We will use this hotel again when traveling to Chicago.
Stayed here the night before the marathon during the Illinois marathon weekend. They were especially accommodating to race entrants as they had free water during the entire stay, and opened up their breakfast up at 5am before the race. Excellent customer service, only reason for 4 stars was the cleanliness of the room which was minor
This is our go-to hotel now in champaign over all the others. The deciding points for me were the large fitness center, the reasonable price, the professional staff, the large wonderful work space and wonderful kitchenette. The room was very clean, bright and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils I needed. The most important attribute almost in the whole room was the real coffee maker...no lousy one cup pod coffee which is invariably awful. I seriously base my hotel choices now on fitness centers and type of in-room coffee maker. (I bring my own coffee). I had a lovely stay for a competition. We are back next year and we will once again stay here.
