We stayed at this hotel while visiting UofI for our son. Location was convenient, rooms comfortable and staff was super nice. One of the best free breakfast buffet we have ever had at a hotel. Only complain we had was how the lighting are designed. There is no way to turnoff the kitchen light unless you turn off the main light switch, which means you have no lights anywhere, including the bathroom. What a bizarre setup! I would annoyed me even more if we were staying for more than a day.

This property makes Marriott look horrible as an overall company. The general manager became upset because I reported him to the customer care line. During my stay, I complained about arranging to have my key updated so that I could have a late check out at 4:00(Platinum Member benefit). I had the front desk clerk update my key around 12:00, and around 3:00 my key did not work and I was unable to enter the building through the side entrance(an inconvenience for me). While speaking with Gina(a very nice lady) about my issue, the general manager rudely interrupted my conversation and told me: I'm not going to give you 10,000 points for your minor inconvenience and it will cost me $70. He continued to speak to me in a rude manner, offered me a soda and gave me an overtly insincere apology. He made me feel very unwelcomed, especially as a Platinum member. He retaliated against me by defaming me to the corporate office: lied and said that I am always rude to his staff and that I have cursed at them(an absolute lie). He was so angry that I reported his rudeness that he wanted to ban me from the hotel(I have an e-mail to prove this statement). He then abused his power by falsifying documents stating that I have been rude to several of the hotel staff. Just like other customers, I have had legitimate complaints about this property: rude staff, unclean rooms. I do not appreciate being defamed by Dan, as I do have a right to complain about any issue when I am a cash paying customer and a supposed valued Platinum Marriott Member. I would not recommend staying at this location to anyone! I am a very credible customer. The fact that he would create defamatory documents against me and force his staff to write and sign them is an obvious case of abuse of power, retaliation, and outright poor business sense. I stand behind every statement that I have written, as I am telling the absolute truth!

We stayed at this hotel 2 nights. The first night John welcomed us, very professional and warm person. Second day we went to the competition. We needed to be gone from the hotel by 6:40 a.m. Breakfast was ready, even if they opened at 7:00 a.m., but the young man in charge of breakfast wasn’t very polite or welcoming. He didn’t like us so early for breakfast. Last summer when we were in town for a competition he acted the same way, even closing the sliding door, so nobody could eat before 7:00 a.m. When we return from the competition on Saturday we didn’t find the room cleaned. We asked to have the room cleaned after 4:30 p.m, but Daisa from the front desk wasn’t very helpful. She told us that our room will be cleaned. We returned at 8:00 p.m. , the room wasn’t cleaned and replenished with towels and toiletries. Lucky for was Brittany was working and she was polite, helpful, caring and sweet! Thank you John and Brittany for being caring, professional and most of all accommodating. I wish you will inspire the management and owners of this hotel to have quality and qualified employees like you. Sad experiences do not maintains business.

The room itself was fine, but housekeeping missed some things. We could not find the coffee pot lid, so the pot leaked all over the countertop making a mess. I also went to use the hand lotion provided by the hotel and it was a nearly empty used bottle. The bathroom floors we just not clean. The bed was fine. The front desk and breakfast workers were all friendly. I know it's not a fancy place, but properly cleaning the bathroom, replacing used toiletry items and making sure the coffee maker has the all the parts are pretty basic things that shouldn't be overlooked.

We stayed here while visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. All of the employees are friendly and always said hello and good morning. The ladies who run the breakfast were very nice and did a wonderful job, the breakfast has lots of selections and everything was delicious.

Overall, clean rooms and good location. The location is close to interstate, but not that you hear the noise of all the traffic. Rooms are a good size. The reception area is great and good breakfast. Beer and food in evening, I️ like it! Never stayed at a Residence Inn before, but probably will after this stay. Only downside, had to wait to check in, seemed under staffed. Other than check in, everything else was good!

This is a new property. The rooms are clean, well appointed and spacious. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Happy hour and breakfast are complimentary and very good. The lobby is bright and welcoming.

Second time staying at this property, and no doubt if ever in the area again, I will be here for a 3rd time. Very friendly staff, rooms are very spacious and well-maintained. Never been in a hotel with such friendly and accommodating staff. Only downfall is it is not walking distance to campus, but close proximity to interstate and overall appearance of the facility make up for that in the long run. Highly recommend.

We stayed one night while visiting Champaign for a football game. If you're not visiting a student, it's at a perfect location because its just off the expressway. The kitchenette had everything you would need--even dishwashing soap. There are no walls between the bedroom and the sitting area or between the sitting area and the kitchen, so the layout is completely open. The large sectional couch is comfortable. The TV is a nice large flat screen that rotates so you can face it toward the bedroom or sitting area. I like that the glasses provided are glass not plastic, and the toiletries were great. The basketball court was nice, and at night, there is an outside sitting area with firepits which we took advantage of. The breakfast there was well above average for included breakfasts. I like to stay walking distance to campus (which wasn't available for this last minute trip) but otherwise, I would definitely come back here.

This extended stay hotel located near Market View mall is a good value for what you get. Our room was spacious, with a modern kitchenette containing a breakfast bar, full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave and small cooktop. Some dishes and utensils were provided, along with dishwashing soap and a dishwasher pod. But for serious cooking, you would find the kitchen lacking. There was a seating area with a large desk, separate from the sleeping area with a king sized bed. The bathroom was spacious, with a large European style shower and sleek, modern fixtures. There is a pool, hot tub and exercise facility with 2 ellipticals, one recumbent bike and 2 treadmills, along with some barbells. I could not get the TV to work on my bike, but there is a large screen TV on one wall. The free breakfast is pretty good for a hotel breakfast, offering 2-3 hot items, like scrambled eggs and a breakfast meat. The buffet also included boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt, fruit, make your own waffles, etc. There was a wide variety of additions like raisins, brown sugar, etc. There is a laundry facility on site.
