I stayed here recently for a weekend to visit my daughter at the University of Illinois. I had a great stay. It's relatively quite. I heard footsteps above me a few times but otherwise didn't hear many doors or other noise. The room was clean and comfortable. The bath was above average for this type of hotel and was roomier than I expected. The heat/AC is totally controllable and you can run the fan continuously which is a nice feature to keep "white" noise going if desired. There is a pool on the first floor. It's small but would be fine if you are traveling with little kids who want somewhere to get wet. The breakfast is above average and has both healthy and tastier options. The coffee is mediocre - they have "house", "decaf" and "dark" but sadly the dark isn't too dark. There is a Starbucks about 0.4 miles away and I found out as I checked out that the Courtyard Marriott right next door has better coffee. The staff at the hotel are very friendly.

This was a nice place to stay. Nothing fancy but comfortable. From the warm welcome we received when we arrived to the comfy bed, this was a nice stay. The pool was closed for renovations when we were there, but that was no biggie for us. Breakfast was typical fare, but good as well.

Two years ago, I promised my dad I would attend the 2017 edition of the bi-annual Farm Show held at nearby Rantoul. He and two of brothers attend in past years. One of my brothers living in Illinois volunteered to make the hotel arrangements. He chose this Fairfield Inn; I think he had a lot of Marriott points. The location was close to a variety of restaurants and close to the highway. It was pretty typical to other Fairfield Inns and this class of hotels scattered across America. Daily breakfast is offered, but we opted to go to Cracker Barrel to leave more for those farmers also attending the show. There were five of us of in three rooms. We experienced no problems and sleep quality was quite satisfactory. We did note the only ice machine was on the first floor; a minor inconvenience, as we generally congregated in the evenings in one to the first floor rooms.

This was a nice quality hotel typical of a Fairfield. I would rate it very good. The rooms were quiet and the location good. Beds were comfortable and shower was warm. Room was clean. In room coffee. The breakfast has quite a few options. The sausage was a bit overcooked and the cheese egg omelets needed to be rotated. Bottom ones were overcooked sitting. I would stay there again.

No significant complaints, but no wows either. Room was clean, however, one of the lights didn't work and the drawers in the dresser would not stay closed (they gradually would open as you walked within the room). During breakfast, the staff seemed overwhelmed and many of stations were empty and in need of refilling. Overall, accommodations were adequate, but doubt we would stay there again.

This property is clean and fairly easy to access but nothing really stood out for me here. There are no microwaves or fridges in the rooms. I was on the 3rd floor and went get some ice since there is no fridge only to find no ice machine so I wandered down to the second floor and still no ice machine. Finally after scouring the 2nd & 3rd floors from one end to another, I found one on the first floor. The breakfast bar was pretty standard & minimal Fairfield faire. Also, I stay in hotel 3-4 times per week and Fairfield is usually my go-to brand. As a result of this, I am a Marriott Platinum member. One of the best perks of the program and this level is the free room upgrades. While there is no guarantee of this perk, I can usually predict if I'll get an upgrade. When you get to a property after 6pm and the parking lot is fairly empty that is usually a good sign. I also will usually check my Marriott app on my phone to see if they are still offering the better rooms. On this particular evening, the young lady whom I won't name gave me a very quick & emphatic "No!" without even looking. This pretty much told me that she just didn't want to make new keys. A trip out to my car later that night to retrieve something and the parking lot was still fairly empty. Just for the heck of it, I checked the app and the premium rooms were still available. So much for going the extra mile.

There are several Marriott properties in the immediate area, so feel free to choose your level of comfort and price. The Fairfield, like the other hotel is easily and quickly accessible off of I-74 and is also located near several restaurants for a late night dinner, breakfast, or lunch. While very close to the interstate, it does offer a quiet location and a comfortable bed. There is a very small workout room w/ minimal weights, as well as a small pool to enjoy. Overall, it was a nice halfway spot for my travel needs.

This hotel is located near the interstate and other hotels. The area is quiet and near tons of restaurants and stores. Fairfield Inns are a Marriott property and always offer clean rooms with toiletries included. The staff is helpful and friendly. We usually don't partake of the breakfast. The menu has not changed in years and needs to be updated. We do like that there is coffee available in the lobby at all hours at no charge.

As always my one night stay was as I have come to expect from Fairfield Inn. The staff was outstanding even the night clerk which said he was new did a great job. As a person that is on the road often it's always good to have a clean and comfortable place to spend a night or two.

It was a very short and pleasant visit. The staff was incredibly accommodating and polite. Rooms were clean, spacious , quiet and very comfortable beds. No doubt this place has the marriott stamp written all over it. Highly recommend!!
