Good location and safe for single travel. Noise level was ok but people were snoring and eating and didn’t shut their alarms off. Not sure how you’d police that in such a tight space. The pink lighting feels like a carving station. Nice staff. Pretty decent for this kinda place

Fantastic location! The property is unique and I like the idea of getting a more affordable room for solo travelers in NYC. I also got to check in early after a redeye flight which was terrific. That said, I didn’t see anywhere in the booking information that the rooms don’t have a ceiling and are open to all the noise of the hallways/ other guests. I’ve stayed at a similar style hotel with small rooms and shared facilities, however those rooms actually had full walls that connected with the ceiling. The NowNow Noho has slatted partial ceilings and walls that do not go all the way to the ceiling. Unless you get lucky and have a nearly empty floor or very quiet floor mates, you will be constantly disturbed with doors opening and closing.Definitely glad I tried it once, but for the price, I’m not sure I’d stay again.

Beware of bed bugs

People talking loudly on the phone. Woke up with multiple bites on my hands and legs and people throwing up in the bathroom at 3 am. Very loud. also my room was missing the stool and sound machine.

This was such a nice stay for solo traveling. It feels safe and secure in the big city. If you don’t plan to be in your hotel most of the trip, think about staying here it’s nice.

Love this place. Was exactly as described. Feels like a cross between a hostel with shared bathrooms and a pod hotel with the privacy. Was quiet overall compared to a hostel, but noisier than a fully self-contained pod hotel. The extra touches made it nicer than either. No real ceiling, more of a trellis. The cleaning staff was present, visible, friendly, and consistent. Great location. Hard to read sign out front until you’ve seen it once. Happy there is a women’s only floor. Thought I would be the oldest person there. Young crowd overall, but saw people in there 50s like me also. Would very happily stay there again.

-Easy check in and check out via terminal -helpful staff at desk -the hotel was clean -all though my room was small, which is to be expected solo hotel, the room was very clean and all the amenities I needed -the shared toilet and shower cubicles were stocked and at the time of using them they were clean. If I was on another solo visit to new york I would stay there again.

The staff was amazing, very helpful and nice. The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to a lot of subway lines for frequent travel through the city, stores, and places to eat. Overall an excellent place to stay. Some notes that I didn’t realize before booking that’s not a big deal but good to know. While you do have your own room that locks there is no real roof so if you’re a light sleeper, that may be a problem as you could hear someone in the middle of the night. There is no elevator, and they don’t provide shower shoes. Overall a great place to stay and I look forward to coming back I can’t recommend it enough.

Love this new hotel. A little pricey at times for what it is, but that is to be expected for such a great service and location. Might want to try an hourly rate pod for red eye flights to get more for your money on a short stay.

Loved it! Aesthetically superb, very clean. I don't care too much about space since I only used the room to sleep and the common bathroom/shower areas which were super clean. Aircon was a bit too cold for my taste. Loved the accessories that I could take back (eyemask and earplugs). Would definitely return!

Wow, this is not for the faint of heart! 3 nights of no sleep! All the banging of the doors, can’t control the AC it was freezing but mostly tue noise . NYC is melting pot and no matter how they advised people to keep noise to a minimum, there will always be that one who eithe is drunk or a loony tune! He was banging the door from 11:30om to 2;45 am on the nigjt of 7/29 and security can’t seem to do anything with it. I say if you value your sleep, take a pass on this one. It may work for those who are accustomed to hostel stays and it’s not for everyone.
