The Intercontinental is a wonderful hotel to stay in if and when the price is right. One could plausibly not need to leave the hotel if the Nairobi visit were just about business meetings. Good food, beverages, gym, and room comfort. Highly recommended but the food and beverage costs are high.
Amazing hotel. Totally worth the experience. Close to the central business district.
The complimentary shuttle pick up at the airport, the gym, and the pool were great.
The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. There was a problem with the air conditioning not working but as soon as it was reported, someone came immediately. I have stayed there several times and would stay there again without hesitation!
Great staff and lovely gardens. Several good restaurant options.
The hotel was very slow at check in and a the bellman never came to bring our bags down for the airport shuttle. Beautiful newer property. Food and service at roof top pool and bar was excellent.
Clean, secure, friendly hotel in downtown Nairobi. Security is reassuring, food is excellent, and staff very friendly and helpful. Nice facilities
Everything as would be expected of a Sheraton. Convenient to the airport. Only thing I didn't like was that the power went off and on several times during the evening and night. All outages were very brief except one that was at least 30-45 minutes.
Property doesn’t really feel safe. Security checks are very haphazard and ineffective. The security checks some people but not others, especially those who look “important”. Service is just hit or miss. Front office manager I had to deal with was rude and unhelpful. I can not recommend this ...
