Nice hotel, very poor restaurant. Poor menu options and too expensive. Nice people. I stayed in this hotel many times before covid. They had better food and better services. Now, after 9 pm there is no room service. There are no vending machines. Most people arrive with late flights. Good luck, Charlie!

The excellent rating I give to this hotel is in comparison to the similar hotels in the area. It is my 3rd coming back to the same place as it is the best value for the money.
Location does not look safe but is close to city center. Security is good. Rooms are clean but very small. Lounge restaurant is just OK but not great. A dinner including soft drinks is around $18 before tips. For the same price in US you get way more value. Breakfast is just ok. Lunch buffet is not attractive: it looks like the leftovers from breakfast. This is my 2nd long stay at this hotel and I will still come back here! You may ask me why? Because the price is reasonable compared with other places of the same category and the people, including the general manager, are very kind! And there is also a very nice rooftop heated pool (lukewarm only) and a pretty good smaller restaurant with a great city view. One more thing: don't look for a whirlpool hot tub when they say they got a spa. For them, spa is a massage center.
The property was nice and clean. What rubbed me the wrong way, was being charged for a guest visiting after 6pm. $50USD! AND thats regardless if the guest stays over night or for a few hours. The only way not to be charged, is if you and your guest stay in the lobby OR if they come before 6pm. That was HIGHLY irritating. Ive stayed at numerous Best Westens across the globe, and NEVER encountered such a "rule". Even the reason for it made no sense at all.
The hotel was very clean, including the rooms. It was a fairly quiet street of town even though it was busy especially in the mornings. The restaurant was excellent, and using the travel agency available at the lobby for a day tour worked well for us.

This hotel is 3-star western style hotel. The food was good and the rooms were cleaned and comfortable. There is a bit of wear of the hotel, but it was better than many other most-expensive hotels we stayed at; thus for us it was good relative value.
Very good hotel. Service was outstand. Employees very friendly and knowledgeable as well as helpful. Price was very good as well as the location. The hotel drivers were super good. Overall a very pleasant experience for my first time in Nairobi.
One of the few, if not only, hotels in Nairobi that permit 3 adults in a single room, which creates a unique value proposition. Leadership provided by new Executive Director put in place two years ago is seen in staff quality and facility maintenance. Highly recommend.
This hotel was my oasis from the city of Nairobi. It is a modern hotel with western amenities, free breakfast bar, and security. I only stayed 2 nights, and they were separated by 4 days, yet the staff remembered my name. They accommodated my every need, including allowing me to come back in to rest and use the wifi on a night I wasn't even staying there. They also have an in-house safari company that can take you places, sometimes even on short notice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a secure place without a high pricetag.
