Wonderful stay. Great room! Great staff service! The general manager and concierge - George - were excellent. Really helpful. Great food - the Chinese restaurant was particularly good and I would highly recommend it. We travelled with children.

We arrived on my birthday and found the room decorated at 11PM with champagne! We stayed for 3 weeks and it was an incredible experience. The room we stayed in was so comfortable and the crew who made up our room came twice a day! While engaging with room service and the front desk we met George Nato - Chief Concierge who took the time to understand our needs to ensure we were taken care of at 3AM! Walking into the hotel and having coffee, cakes and cookies was a treat! Because we enjoyed each breakfast morning. The service during breakfast was personal with staff remembering our names and being extremely professional. We enjoyed the spa twice a week and it was one of the absolute best spa treatments. After one of our visits I had the pleasure of meeting Jacob Musyimi - the Front Office Manager. He showed an exceptional attention to our stay and to our visit home. He made us feel like friends and not customers of their establishment. We enjoyed the quality of service in the Balcony Bar when we had business guests and when we had our personal friends and family. They kept us entertained when they had a local live band playing. I used their business center a number of times, found that my documents were secure and were being processed in the most professional manner that gave me confidence that my information was kept private. I cannot remember everyone's names but thank you ALL for making our stay enjoyable; we will be coming back at the end of this month !

We had lunch at the Italian restaurant as an extended family with six kids and while our hostess,Virginia was exceptionally kind and professional, her colleagues at the Lobby were not very friendly. We felt that African staff still have very backward attitudes to other black Africans coming in as guests and view them with strange aloofness and coldness. They should either change that or don't work in hospitality!Lunch and facilities are great though!

We stayed at VRK only for a night but had a great time at their property. From the welcome champagne, to the room designs - everything is gorgeous and makes you fall in love instantly. Their breakfast spread is amazing too and they have a hot pot restaurant as well which seemed lovely! Must stay here while in Nairobi.

Quaint old place nice big rooms Great Resturant’s Nice decor A great bar the staff is good A bit stuffy but we enjoyed a one night stay Sniffer dogs at a hotel was a new level of security for us as u drive in

Spent an amazing three nights after a safari and beach stay with my family. We had high expectations and these were more than met. The restaurants serve top quality food and I guess this is to be expected given that the manager Mr Simone is Italian and therefore sets high standards. The rooms were excellent but what really makes this hotel stand out are the staff. We found Kenyans to be incredibly friendly and the staff at this hotel were superb. So many to mention but a particular thank you to Fairman Muhingi (ops director), Maureen (reception) and George (Concierge). I simply can not wait to visit again. Don't let people put you off - we had concerns about security etc but Nairobi is safe as long as you are sensible (like any major city) and definitely worth a stay of a few days in its own right and in particular at this hotel where you will be well looked after! Thank you!

Great customer service and food. I really felt welcomed and appreciated. The ambience is quite relaxing. I Was served by Martha at the balcony bar. She is a professional. Will definitely visit the place again.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is fabulous with lovely staff, in particular Linda on reception and Moses on the concierge desk. Food in the restaurants was good, but expensive. We organised a hotel car to take us to the airport and the service was also excellent. Would stay here anytime.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from Masai Mara. We had an unfortunate incident with a company we'd used go book our travel to Mombassa via Voi and Makindu. The hotel were exceptional in assisting us to find a new driver at the last hour. Matthew and especially Moanisa at conceirge were so helpful at organising a vehicle (we were a party of 7 with 2 kids and 11 pieces of luggage!) For the following 3 days and the hotel went over and beyond in helping us by allowing us to borrow 2 children's seats. We were so thankful and will definitely be using this luxurious hotel with top class service for future visits to Kenya! Thank you again!

This hotel leaves no wishes open: friendly and professional staff, well maintained and serviced rooms, delicious breakfast and various dining options. The location is central, close to business districts. The concierge service helps with transfers or any other needs. Optimal security rounds up the package. Absolutely to be recommended. Thank you!
