Overall, good experience...comfortable rooms and beds. The motel made the best effort to provide B’fast during COVID (Grab-n-go), so that was appreciated.

My husband and I arrived at 2:30 pm and the front desk didn’t allow early check in, we had to wait until 4 even though the hotel was empty. I guess that’s fine given their policy. However, after checking in, we walked to a filthy room. The bathroom has been used and not flushed!!! The floor was dirty so we had to mop it by hand with disinfectant wipes that we brought with us. The couch was missing from the room. We complained to front desk and they said there was never a couch (not what was shown in pic upon booking). They also said there is no housekeeping to clean!!!!! We ended up leaving a night before because we didn’t feel clean and safe. They did not refund our money. I don’t usually write reviews but during this covid situation, you want to come into a clean place and know that staff is taking precautions, the hotel miserably failed providing that.

When we arrived there wasn’t anyone at the front desk for well over 10 minutes. We were told no complementary breakfast and no pool. There was no coffee maker in room, cups, or ice bucket. We had a half used roll of toilet paper in the bathroom and that was it. We were there for 2 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned and never received new towels or wash cloths. I went down to the front desk to purchase a bottle of water and they said all they had was a vending machine, which didn’t have water. No elevator in this hotel. The AC in the halls was not on and it was extremely hot in the halls. I usually don’t complain but I was absolutely unhappy with my stay. The beautiful city of Grand Haven has more quality hotels than this one and I’ll make sure I stay elsewhere next time.

The staff and amenities were wonderful after a long travel to just relax and enjoy the night, although it wasnt very cleanly, there were clumps of hair in the pool, we found a dead bug in our room, along with dust and dirt collecting along the tv, ontop of the dresser, and inside the drawers of the bedside table.

I didn't like that there were dirty towels left on my shower and garbage from the people before that found. And brought to the attention of staff and they responded with I can assure you the room was cleaned.

The tile flooring in the bathroom needs a rug or non stick pad of some sort. The floor becomes extremely slippery due to no fan or ventilation system and I slipped and fell pretty bad. The room doors need replacing as well. Big gaps to the the hallway. Other than that, this is the best hotel in the area.

Decent hotel. Could use some updating, but was clean. Nice pool area. Asked for a late check out, and the girl told me she could give us an extra half hour. Woopiiee!!

The only thing that was disappointing was we called ahead to check in early and without hesitation we were told no check in's before 4:00 PM. Because of this we had several hours to find something to do. Not so easy in this area, this time of year.

Everything was perfect, but the toilet was a bit dirty, no big deal though

We were pleasantly surprised by the Baymont Hotel, which as former Grand Havenites we had driven by hundreds of times. The room was clean and well-appointed. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is centrally located and well-staffed. We would return.

We were pleased overall with our stay. Hotel is very clean. When I reported a problem with the pool they called and had someone there within an hour to fix it. I would recommend when checking in that the staff tell you about the free breakfast and the fact they don't have an elevator. No mention of either.

We were there during a terrible storm the power In the town went out and our hotel was out of power for 18 hours. I know it's not their fault but they didn't handle it well shouting to their customers that nobody is getting a refund.

Hotel was clean and room was comfortable and nice. Hotel was a little loud but nothing extreme. Pool area was clean and rather large for a typical hotel. Overall, I would stay here again without hesitation.

The hotel was nice and convenient. Staff was friendly. Our desk leg in the room was completely broken off and I informed the staff. Nothing was done to fix it during our 3 day stay. The tile flooring in the bathroom needs a rug or non stick pad of some sort. The floor becomes extremely slippery due to no fan or ventilation system and I slipped and fell pretty bad. The room doors need replacing as well. Big gaps to the the hallway. Other than that, this is the best hotel in the area.
