Family vacation

We had an incredible stay at this vacation house! It truly had all the amenities we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfy beds and plenty of space for the whole family. The views of the lake were absolutely stunning—whether we were sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, it was picture-perfect.The neighbors were very respectful and quiet, which made the atmosphere even more peaceful. One highlight we highly recommend is renting a pontoon—cruising around the lake was a blast and made our trip even more memorable.This spot is perfect for a family getaway. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Perfect Family Retreat

We just returned from a week at Torch Lake. The Stoldt's home was perfect for our group of 8, which included all generations. There was plenty of room to spread out and beds for everyone! We enjoyed the on-site amenities like the kayaks and floaties, and the game tables provided hours of fun for the whole family. The gym was a very nice surprise as well! The home is well-cared for and the owners included many touches that you don't often find in a rental that just make everything easier - basic kitchen amenities, soap for the bathroom, and even a s'mores kit! We spent many nights out at the fire pit. Our favorite part was definitely the dock, which was the prime location for reading and watching the sunset. We are already dreaming of our next visit!

Outstanding Property

We could not have been happier with our trip to Torch Lake. The rental was decorated beautifully and the owners thought of absolutely everything you could possibly need. The location is perfect and we really enjoyed the fire pit and access to the water.

We had a perfect time. You can do as much or as little as you wish. Rented a pontoon for the day. Did some kayaking, and swimming. The lakes sandy bottom is beautiful. Thanks for sharing your place 😊

High School Friend-cation

Our friend group from high school got together for our first proper vacation. The property was beautiful and exactly as shown on the listing. Our hosts were very friendly and the house is kept well stocked. We took advantage of the boat rental company they suggested and had an amazing time! Highly recommend this Torch Lake home and would absolutely rent from this owner again!

Fabulous property!

This torch Lake house was splendidly located, furnished, and equipped. It is even nicer than the pictures. The kitchen was perfect for a group of seven. We grilled out, we ate out on the picnic table. We enjoyed the sunset. We were on the dock every day, and we took advantage of the recommended pontoon rental company. We will definitely rent from this owner again.

Family Fun on Torch Lake :)

We have spent many summers on the lakes in Michigan but this house has the best location of any we've rented! Beautiful views of Torch Lake with very easy access to the sandbar for swimming. House was organized and set up perfectly and the owners were very kind and always quick with their communication. Our family had a wonderful and relaxing week and cannot wait to come back again! Thank you again!

Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds. TV sets easy to use. Lots of chairs for outside seating. Boat dock on lake a few steps from the house. Four kayaks in the garage. Stacked firewood for firepit in back yard. Property is very well maintained and spotlessly clean.

Fantastic Vacation

We had the best time at this beautiful property. All of the kids had a blast playing in the water and just hanging out in the home. The home was clean and beautiful. The sunsets were gorgeous. I hope we can come back some day. I don’t know how another place will top this one.

Charming waterfront home on Torch Lake

This home was such a pleasant and lovely retreat. Nestled in the woods, on the south end of Torch lake just a few steps to dock & swimming, kayaking or boating. The home is well stocked, extremely clean & beautifully decorated. The owners are nearby & offer pontoon rental for a very reasonable cost. I would recommend this property to anyone Looking for a lovely getaway

Clean and Attention to Every Detail.

We had a great experience at this unit. Very clean and spacious with great, clean bathrooms with plenty of towels, TP, and linens and a well-appointed kitchen with everything you need to feel like you are cooking at home, yet on the water with fantastic nightly sunsets. We brought wood for the fire pit, but were surprised to find a hearty stack of seasoned and split hardwood. The Adirondack chairs were plentiful, weighty and sturdy, no plastic chairs at this place. Also we found the mooring bouy for our boat to be well-located and secure, which is important on Torch Lake. Finally, the owners, who reside next door, were available if you needed something—anything—but certainly did not hover. They could not have been nicer or more engaging. Bottom line: our family really loved our stay and we hope to come back again. .

Torch Lake Beauty

I have to echo so many of the past reviews of this property. To the beautiful well appointed house, outside firepit and ready access to the crystal clear waters of Torch Lake our stay was wonderful! We rented the host's son's pontoon boat and cruised the lake with a stop at the Dockside restaurant and back on the lake for swimming to work off the good food. (Rental of the lily pad is highly recommended.) Day trips included Mackinac Island, Petoskey State Park and Elk Rapids. Honestly it was very hard to leave the property. A very big thank you to the Stoldt's family for helping us to make so many magical memories!
