I loved that this is out of town. The Stonecliffe area is beautiful and they do have shuttles and taxis available. The unit itself was nicely updated and we had a balcony view of a sliver of the lake. Had things stayed this way, we wouldn't be having this conversation. However, the first strike was the kitchen faucet was not working. That was a big reason I had stayed there. The door lock was hard to open the second day. On the third day I returned to find the door I knew i had closed tightly, popped open. Everything for the most part was decent until my third night. That was when the floodgates opened. I knew my walls were paper thin the first day, but this is the day I figured out HOW thin. We came back to construction being done on another unit around dinner. A saw was running and it made another guests dog bark non stop. Then my neighbors stayed up playing cards. It turns out any noise made from the kitchen of the adjacent unit can be heard through the connecting door as if youre in the same room. My neighbors stayed up until 2 drinking and playing cards. It was so loud i couldn't sleep. When I finally was able, something or someone fell and woke me up at 1 am. At check out I tried telling the desk lady about the lock. She seemed snooty so i didn't say anything else. The bag guys and other desk lady that lives on site were awesome...but I WILL NOT stay again.

Great for a family vacation on a budget! Cute place- a bit far from downtown, but my 6 and 8 year olds were able to make the bike trip back and forth each day. The staff was very responsive if we needed anything, and there was a spot to grab food nearby the night we were too exhausted to go anywhere into town. Our balcony had a partial view of the lake, and it was a beautiful spot to drink morning coffee!

Just realize this is 2 miles from the dock. Its in a nice setting and good restaurant near by
