Great time!

The history

People above us were noisy most of evening

Overall i enjoyed our stay. I do enjoy the more vintage appearance, as it matched the island well. The only regret is that we didn't stay longer, but was a frwat yime.

Good placement and very good services. We stayed for the 4th of July break and it was really helpful to get an OK breakfast from the hotel, as all other restaurants were full. Facilities were OK as well, considering we were on an island. We did not like the fact that they don't have central AC and we could not sleep because of the noise that the unit installed in the window was making.

No refrigerator, no microwave and everything old and dusty but staffs are very nice and helpful.

It was mostly fine except ffor the room cleaning. I stayed for two nights and my bed was not made, the trash was not emptied, nor were the wet towels changed. I don't mind the bed not being made, but the small trash can was overflowing and the towels were soaked because I wiped up water that dripped onto the floor. (The showered head dripped and splashed water onto the floor.) I mentioned the lack of room cleaning when I checked out and was told that they don't service the room on stay over guests. So if you only go for one night, you'd be fine. But if you stay over more than one night, then cleanoing and laundering towels are up to you.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds comfortable. The smell of the Taco Bar wafted throughout the halls and was a little unpleasant. Breakfast is not included but can be purchased for $10.99, but you have to pay an extra $2 for juice. We took our breakfast at the Pancake House across the street two of the three mornings. We like the centralized location.

Friendly staff, the whole property was clean and well taken care of, and centrally located so everything was easy to get to

It's very old with an "antique" feel to it which I thought was neat. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The location is great. The only negatives were that the room was very small and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Great hotel. Enjoyed our stay very much. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Murray. It was nice to be downtown and right where the action is. The hotel was nice, the pool area looked inviting. We were not able to enjoy the pool due to time restrictions, but I definitely would make time next visit. The room was small, but there were just two people in our room. The A/C worked really well and we were able to open the windows at night and enjoy the horses hooves on the pavement below! Over all a good hotel. They need more seating in front of the hotel as there were only three chairs, we waited for a chance to sit and it was worth it just for the people watching!

It is certainly regrettable that your recent experience was not more positive. We hope you will give us another chance in the future to see how much we have improved our guest experience.
