Clean and comfy

The room was clean and comfortable. The service was great. The bathroom in the room was small with no fan but clean, the mirror above the sink was quite small and made it difficult for my fiance to do her makeup she was able to make due. There was only 1 available outlet to charge phones etc. Overall the stay was good and I would recommend the Inn as a whole but at the price point I paid it left a little bit to be desired

We Loved the charm of this adorable property! We enjoyed the cafe on the first level, (especially the cute outdoor patio), the spacious outdoor porch on the second level, and the colonial aesthetic of the beautifully decorated, clean, and well-maintained rooms. We also appreciated and took advantage of the large hot tub on the third level,(although it could have been a bit hotter). The staff and service was very friendly and the continental breakfast and coffee every morning was lovely. We definitely would return to stay here again!

This Inn has a lot of charm. It is a historic building on Mackinac. The wrap around second floor porch was a great place to have breakfast in the morning. We were so busy on the island that we did not have time to use the spa. The fudge sold at the Inn was better than some of the fudge at the fudge stores and they were generous with allowing my kids to sample a variety of the fudge. The breakfast was a continental breakfast, with hard boiled eggs, but it was enough to get our day started. When we arrived they had a porter bring our bags from the dock and they held our bags until our room was available and then placed them in our room. We could even access them if needed until our room was ready.

Wonderful family weekend

Wonderful view of downtown and the water. Easy to get to from the ferry and convenient coffee shop in the lobby. Kid-friendly, breakfast was excellent and the pool/hot tub was a great way to end the day. Would absolutely stay again.

The inn was ok, but way over priced. It was in the 400 dollar range and worth about 150 a night. Thwy lacked the details. Air didn't work, toilet leaked, door would nit shut, the walpaper was peeling. One of the desk people was nice. All and all not unhappy, i just feel like I got ripped off. The island is cool.

The Inn at Mackinac was a fine place to stay for a family of 4. It is between the fort and mission point so out of the Main Street mad traffic but close enough for a quick walk to it. We did request a top floor room when we booked on Expedia but ended up in the 2nd with some noisy stomping above us. I called the hotel around noon on the day of our arrival to confirm top floor, but they said they never saw the note from Expedia and it was too late to move things around. They were able to supply us with a box fan to help with the noise, which was a big help. Things did settle down during quiet hours aside from the occasional thumping during the night as they moved around above us. Overall the room was fine with a Victorian decor. The bathroom was tight but had the basics. The bedding was too thin, they didn’t have comforters, just a sheet and a blanket. They have a large hot tub outside with a water feature that can fit 15, my kids enjoyed swimming in it and didn’t miss a full pool. The breakfast was pretty week for a $500 room that totes itself as a bed and breakfast, just cereals, breads, yogurt, boiled eggs, apples, oranges, bananas, juice and coffee, but at least it was included for the family. I think if we would have ended up on the 5th floor, I would have had a better overall impression of our visit, but that is simply a preference for my family since my husband and I wake easily. Overall, it was a nice stay and in line with the other inns on the island.

Mackinac bachelorette trip.

We recently stayed here on my daughter‘s bachelorette trip. Six of us had two rooms. They were beautiful and clean. The staff was so nice. The breakfast was much appreciated as were the cookies at bedtime. They also have an espresso bar. We enjoyed the beautiful porch and hot tub every day. I would highly recommend this hotel.
