Lovely location, spotless inside and out, welcoming staff. Though dated, the property is in very good repair and the breakfast full of delicious options.

It was a nice lace t stay--I only wish I would have asked for room on the first floor--being seniors the steps were okay and we made it work. Would stay there again if were needed.

Older property; owners appear to attempt to keep up with maintenance, but they have their work cut out for them. For example the door to the back of main building would not lock ; towel racks in room bathroom kept falling off the wall. The pool and hot tub were nice and kept clean.

Just good enough for the money.

Room was clean for the most part but carpet was in need of a cleaning. Room had a slight musty smell. One bed mattress was a little tired and you could feel the springs more than expected. Room had a small porch that was clean and a nice place for morning coffee. The breakfast was a little picked over by 8:30AM bit found just enough to fuel up. Overall a good place to catch some sleep for the $.

This property is old; the mattress was lumpy, the air conditioner did not work properly (made a lot of noise and kept turning on/off all night) and the room was dark. Would not recommend unless you are desperate.

MUSTY

Room felt damp, beds felt like they were made of brick, pillows were lumpy. AC unit was old, constantly ran, and the temperature inside the room was never consistent. It was either too hot or too cold, no matter what I set it to. MUSTY. I didn’t really notice it until I was trying to sleep, but something about the dampness of the room/humidity and the carpet/mattress/sheets/*something* gave off an odor, like BO and feet. Given that I showered before bed, no, it wasn’t me. Could not fall asleep at all, had my eyes closed for most of the night but was far too uncomfortable to be able to actually fall asleep. Read some reviews on Google & Hotels.com a bit later, and found that there was previously a bedbug infestation a little over a month ago with documentation. Though I didn’t notice any myself, I felt too uncomfortable (and exhausted after a full night without sleep) to want to continue staying, and checked out early. Only rating 2 stars instead of 1 because I didn’t bother to press for a refund, and the staff themselves seemed decent. I read that there was a change of ownership recently-ish, so I assume they just inherited something that isn’t salvageable without more work than they can afford put into it.
