A class hotel

Nice hotel in good condition, right on Lake Huron with easy access to Mackinaw Island ferries. Slight miss - no iron/board in room.

Overall good experience. My biggest complaint is the info for the bar hours was not correct online and what was listed on the actual door. They closed an hour early and that was a bummer as there is not much within walking distance at night.

The beach was nice, small but nice. The room was small but adequate. Very expensive and overpriced. The restaurant was a huge disappointment. We waited 15 minutes to be seated when there was no one in front of us. We waited 40 minutes after being seated and never even received water and our order was never taken despite us asking three times as the waiter walked right by us. We felt invisible. We finally got up and left. Truly the worst restaurant service we have ever experienced. The three other parties also had major problems getting served. Please train the restaurant staff better and hire more people.

The hotel was great. Services in the bar/restaurant was great. Nice meal. Nice breakfast the next morning. Now, the front desk when we first arrived (we were early) she was not very pleasant at all. Hotel is full you CANNOT come back and check in until 4:00. I felt like I was being scolded by my mother. We get it, checkin & out is hectic, but sometimes it’s all in the delivery.

We stayed for the St. Ignace Straight UP Jeep Creep October 1-3. Check in was easy, they upgraded our room to a patio beachfront. We were steps away from the restaurant, pool and beach. Room and amenities we great, especially the breakfast. Only thing I’d add to the breakfast would be a toast/bagel/English muffin option. We booked again for Jeep The Mac/May 2022

It was a very beautiful spot to stay. We did have a few issues. We had a fire alarm go off, and had zero communication from the hotel staff as to what was going on. We finally were able to go back in our rooms at 12:30am and housekeeping was knocking on doors by 9am. I was hoping they would extend the breakfast a bit since people were up so late, but it closed at 10am on the dot. Overall it was a nice stay, but there needs to be a plan in place for emergencies and communication with guests.

We loved this property. We will definitely stay here again. The place is clean, the employees are friendly, the view is fantastic, the entertainment in the bar was exceptional!

The beds are very soft and plushy. Very comfortable. The rokms were pretty. The view was beautiful. Book direct from the hotel. I found out after that it was $40 cheaper than booking from Orbitz.

The property was nothing special. The beach was ok. I don't know why they call It a resort. It didn't have anything but a volleyball net. The breakfast was very disappointing. The room was average.

Great hotel to stay at. Staff was very friendly. Loved the location.

Very clean, nice view, friendly staff, good food at the beach club. Nice place for a family

It was a very clean hotel. They provided great Customer service.

I wish the beach was a lot better.. it’s a little murky and hard to swim.

We are sorry to hear you were treated so poorly at check in. We want everyone to feel welcome from the moment they get here to the moment they leave. I will speak with staff to make sure that this doesn't happen again. I'm truly sorry.

Thank you for your review we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry the alarm went off so late in the evening this is not a regular occurrence. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. Guest safety is top priority in the event the fire alarm is activated .Clearance from the local fire department before allowing guests back into the building is necessary.
