Good location. Room was ok. Every little noise in the hallway and rooms above and next door could be heard. Someone was letting children run in the hall and yell at each other each night. Shower was either burning hot or freezing cold. Shower head was made for someone under 5’6”. Won’t be staying there on the next trip north for sure.

Very disappointed with the cleanliness of this property. Extremely outdated, dead bugs and hair balls by the pool, musty smell and landscaping poor with weeds growing everywhere outside.

Staff was great. The hotel just didn’t seem very clean. The first room the sheets were stained and hair was in the tub. We were given another room and the sheets were also stained and there were dead mosquitoes smashed in the wall and not cleaned off.

The overall cleaniness was poor. Carpets stained and walls dirty. Not the cleanest place to stay

Two things: (1) the outside panel of the jacuzzi tub in our room had several cracks. No attempt to repair the damage had been done; just exposed screws to hold it in place. (2) No ice dispencers on the floors except main floor. Everytime i needed ice I had to go down two flooes just to get a bucket of.ice.

A well maintained hotel close to town. Free shuttle service to Sheplers. The free breakfast was good, too. Nice view of Lake Michigan with access to a beach.

Our room was very clean and our view was amazing. Awesome sunrise 🌅

Good location for getting to the island. Breakfast was just OK. Could add some décor to the hallways. Front desk needs friendlier people. Head housekeeper was the friendliest person we encountered.

Good view of the lake, comfortable bed, spacious room, small outside sitting area with sliding door and good breakfast.

I booked the hotel room a day in advance for 4 adults and 1 child. Upon arrival to the room we quickly discovered that there was only enough bedding for 4 guests so I went back to the front desk and asked for the roll away bed. Once the roll away bed arrived we found out that it had stains on it. Shortly after that, one adult guest took a shower and the drain was broken not allowing any water to actually drain so we once again had to contact the front desk and the maintenance guy showed up shortly after to pry up the plunger. When we called the front desk for the second time we asked for more towels as the room only had enough for 4 guests. I feel that if I book a room a day in advance for 5 guests that the room should be prepped for 5 guests prior to our arrival.

Need more staff to meet breakfast needs of travelers. Understaffed and under supplied

good value, great view, very nice property right on Lake Huron. Was surprised by quality and comfort.

Expensive room, with a lake view. The door to the balcony had a broken lock, fixed with a rod (the lock itself was broken, but we were able to safely close the door). The internet did not reach our corner room. The set up of the room was not well thought out. Not worth the money they charged.

We stayed here because we were part of the mini on the mack parade trying to break the world record of 1450 mini's crossing the mackinaw bridge. The room was ready upon check-in, clean and comfortable. We had a lake view room which was wonderful. We also had a very nice breakfast.

The hotel was clean and had a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and the cost was fair.

The breakfast room was jammed (maybe because it was a holiday weekend), and the staff were very stingy during the last ~10 minutes about what new food they were willing to set out. The exercise room was also a joke, if I remember correctly, tucked downstairs with only two old and half-broken machines. But our hotel room was nice, large, and quiet.

Very nice location on lakeview , Very good spot in summer

We had a lakeview room - absolutely beautiful sunrise over Lake Huron. Room was clean and very nice. Breakfast was substantial - biscuits & gravy, eggs, potatoes. Staff allowed for early check in and everyone was willing to answer questions, give recommendations and directions and just generally be totally helpful.
