Every staff member we saw was very friendly and helpful
We went to visit family in Philadelphia. This was a nice hotel only 30 minutes away. Rooms were spacious and kitchen is sufficient. Close to many restaurants in the area.
Great experience. Beautiful spacious suite, friendly staff, prompt response.
The overall hotel is nice. Food is decent. However, I booked a queen suite (every other Homewood suites I've stayed in had 2 queens and a sofa bed). This queen suite however only had 1 queen bed and a sofa bed. I said that we had 5 people staying there....Well, with only 1 queen bed and a sofa, that only sleeps 4. After checking in, we could not be upgraded because on the whole property there are only 2 rooms with 2 queens and a sofa bed.
Mattress was a little to hard for me. could have had a pillow top of some sort
The room set-up was unexpected and uncomfortable. It was one big room with one tv in the middle, and the sofa and queen bed on either sides of the room. There was also a small table with three chairs between the sofa, doorway, and kitchenette area, and a desk in the middle of the room. The room was just cramped overall, and I didn't like the way it was set up. Also, there was no tub, only a shower. The vanity area of the bathroom, which is also where the closet is located, had no door so it was open in the bed area. The shower/toilet room was small, but it did have a door. The included buffet breakfast is a nice amenity, but the set-up is chaotic because there is no clear indication of where to start so people just clustered and got in each other's way. My daughter's enjoyed the indoor pool, which was nice.
Easy access to interstate to commute between family members.
the only negative thing I saw was the room needed some updating.the chair in the living area was worn with stuffing coming out and the sofa pillows were the same.
We were very surprised to receive a suite for the price that we paid. It had all the comforts of a small apartment. We were even able to cook ourselves dinner! My only complaint was the music being played on the basketball court, but that was due to other travelers, not the hotel staff. I would absolutely stay here again.
Let me positively say that I had a nice time with my granddaughter and daughter for our overnight trip. The staff was friendly, they didn't have our room ready at 2pm or when I came back at 4pm. So being the not-so-difficult customer I took the room. The sink in the vanity area has draining problems so I had to remove the stopper. The hook behind the bathroom door and towels racks was loose in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Hats off to the cooks at the hotel.
I am an annual attendee of the Penn Relays at the University of Penn. I don't like to stay too close to the track so not only was this location perfect, but it had everything we wanted. Nice price, clean, good breakfast. I'll be hopefully staying again in 2015 and hoping it'll be my regular hotel going forward.
We stayed in a suite, separate bedroom and living area, a nice big room with two TVs, a big bathroom and a decent sized kitchenette with full sized refrigerator. The room was very clean with no odd smells. Breakfast was included and was generous, eggs, sausage, cream of wheat with add ins (walnuts, raisins, brown sugar), waffles, dry cereal, bread, coffee, juice...with the largest seating area I have ever seen. Monday through Thursday the hotel serves a complementary lite dinner with drinks...except on Thanksgiving. We stayed on the interstate 295 side of the expanse building and heard traffic all night long. The second night I turned the fan from auto to on so the fan noise would overwhelm the traffic noise and I could sleep, it worked fine. The building is huge and is a maze, much like a cruise ship if you've ever been. You'll figure out where to park and which elevator to take to get to you room and car by the time you check out...at least you'll get your exercise in! The hotel staff is very polite, friendly and extremely helpful. Lots of great bakery's close by (Gallos) and NJ best tomato pie (Delorenzos) is a can not miss! But get there early.
We needed a comfortable, reasonable, hotel to visit our kids. Everything in Philly was too expensive or very far away. We found this online and it was so easy to get into the city for all the fun things our kids had planned. Plus this is a home away from home. during the week we shared many lovely dinners with other guest , as guest of the hotel. The dining room came with a beer tap and wine during dinner hours. Everyone seemed to enjoy this extra perk. We always look now for this chain when we travel.
Back up North for 3 nights to see my Eagles plays Sunday night football. Homewood Suites provided a very comfortable place for my friend and I to stay. Staff was very professional and friendly! Great stay overall! Plan to return next time I come up for an Eagles game.
I enjoyed my stay lobby was nice and modern staff was nice hotel room was clean nothing really to complain overall just a few minor things but no big deal I thought the kitchen had a oven and when I ask for wash clothes there was none but they did bring some up later but other wise good I would stay here again the kids loved it.
We spent most of our vacation in the hotel room and it was just lovely. Perfectly relaxing. The room was like a little apartment, with a full size refrigerator, stove, and things to cook with. Super clean. We bought sweet corn from a farm stand and took it back to cook at the hotel to eat during a movie marathon! The bed was very comfortable and the fan in the room provided a nice, subtle white noise without being overpowering. The pool looked amazing and my partner enjoyed the treadmill/elliptical in the fitness room. I would have only preferred a little more space in the fitness room and perhaps some workout machines (there was only cardio equipment and free weights). Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious and varied. We will definitely stay here again! Maybe play some tennis next time!
Great location to shopping malls. Great breakfast and outdoor amenities!
Very accommodating to business travelers. Free wifi, kitchen, decent gym and pool. Very close to all kinds of stores and highways.
Stayed here during week for business trip. Almost everyone does free breakfast nowadays but no one can beat the free dinner offered throughout weekdays, that was a pleasant surprise. Room was ver quiet clean.
