First room I got door lock was broken and bathroom floor had dead flys and ceiling filled with mold. 2nd room was ok, but few lights didn't work and missing bathroom door.

It's a decent place to sleep. Not a resort.

I drove from Florida to NJ on a family emergency and after almost 20hrs of travel my wife, children and myself were extremely exhausted and booked at the red roof inn because the pictures on the site looked presentable. The rooms smelled like cigarettes. Had mold everywhere. Toilet seat was disgusting. There was cigarette burn marks on the blanket. Was moved to another room and it was just as bad. When I told the manager. She took a small spray bottle from her car and sprayed the room and said the smell will go away. Which of course made the smell worse. My daughter started to have a bad allergic reaction and my sons asthma started to flare up. To our luck we had meds on hand. I have pictures and videos of the room and it’s condition. I would love for someone to contact me in regards to this experience and would like to share the photos and videos. This place should not be opened for business. And I’m considering calling the news and reporting it. No one should have to stay in a place like this. My family and I had to sleep in my vehicle the first night of our emergency trip due to the filth that we experienced.

Everything was great

Horrible service, dirty bed, dirty room, my key card lock was also broken.

The property and the room were beyond disgusting. Upon arrival when I was trying to check in the staff was screaming on top of her lungs at somebody on her phone. I listened to it for a while and then asked her what she was doing. She said 'Can't you see? It is a Facebook Live!!!' The room reeked of smoke. The sheets at cigarette burn holes in them and were stained. Every piece of furniture was stained. There was sticky residue all over the place. There was also a lively fly population. I refused to stay and asked for a refund. In my 25 years of travel this is one of the sketchiest, dirtiest places I have ever come across.

dump

The place stunk, had cockroaches, seedy people hanging around. I cannot believe Orbitz recommends this place! horrific conditions

Very rundown. Room had several cigarette burns on both bedspreads, even though it's all "smoke free" rooms. Refrigerator hasn't been cleaned in ages and didn't keep anything cold. I was given 2 wash clothes and one towel total. This place is gross.

Smells like smoke and dogs. I had to switch rooms three times. All of them were horrible. Was the worse hotel I ever stayed at. There are cockroaches

Not clean a completely dump!!

The facility is not maintained properly, dirty windows , leak stains on ceilings , traces of hair on mirror during entire stay . Area appeared to be unsafe .

If you're wondered what it would be like to experience Calcutta in the 70s, this is the place for you! I had booked a very late room (about 1 am) and entered a office with a 24 hours sign. The office was encased with plastic much like you see a Newark liquor store. I found two men in rapturous slumber. One of the floor another in an office chair via Staples 1997. The man on the floor had only a yellow blanket to shelter him from the cold floor of life. What doubled as protection from the floor also seemed to a whoobie of some sorts. The other man was slumbering in the office chair. Roturd and dusty, he looked like a Dickens character but Indian. His bare feet seemed to point due north and were arguing that diabetes isn't really as bad as it seems. The Woobie man raised like a dia de los Muertos celebration. He proceeded to tell me that I had booked tomorrow. I said nothing. I was too tired and kept looking at the office surroundings and the humanity of it all. He repeated it a few more times like an angry prosecutor. I looked at my phone several times to make sure I hadn't lost my mind, but I had chosen the right day. I still had said nothing. But who am I too Judge? Had me and my East Indian compatriots time traveled?

Not clean

There were transient people wondering around like they were living there, or on drugs, or both, and late into evening someone was blaring music from their car sterio...nice when your there to go to bed early and have to get up at 4:30am.The room was way to expensive for what you got. The floor of the room was disgusting with sticky oozy substance on carpet around bed. A strange unpleasant smell lingered in room which made me want to gag by morning. No mini frig which would have been nice considering the price. Only good thing was linens, sink, and bathroom were nice and clean.

Place is garbage. There is a car with slashed tires and broken windows in the parking lot that looks like it’s been there a long time, room was dirty, blankets had stains and didn’t appear to have been washed. My child found a diabetic needle on the floor when I took it to the management he had an attitude before I even brought it to him and he didn’t even apologize. I should have been that kind of person that demanded a refund but didn’t....So gross.

Not good. Got the wrong type room than we booked. Bathtub slow drain. Shower with water on ankles. Cars broken into and vandalized outside. Unsavory people stay there making us feel unsafe. Supposed non smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. Very discouraging stay.
