This is a typical Fairfield. It was very satisfactory. Mattress was a little soft for my liking. The hotel is close to the Interstate, but far enough away that you hear no noise. The hotel is located in the East Chase area and there are tons of restaurants and shopping. This is a good place to stay when visiting Montgomery.
My wife and I evacuated from Miami during hurricane Irma, and found a diamond. The staff was warm, and accommodating all around. The hotel was fresh, and very clean. Southern hospitality truly lives at this hotel. We have nothing, but good things to say about this hotel from the time we checked in late Wed. night 9/6 until we left Thurs. 9/14. Special thanks to the lady in house keeping for taking care of us because we hardly left the room much. The front desk, house keeping, and the ladies that prepared our breakfast did a phenomenal job of taking care of us. If you pass through Montgomery, AL do yourself a favor, and stay at this hotel. It was the best decision we could have made aside from getting out of Miami early!! We would clearly stay there again, and hopefully under better circumstances.
This was a family trip to attend volley ball tournament at Alabama State College. The hotel was really quiet, we had a large, very comfortable room. We were only there for one night so we did not need to use a laundry or dry cleaning service. We had a great breakfast the next morning, there was something on the breakfast bar to suite many tastes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will stay there again if we go back to Montgomery..
Excellent, will visit here again. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was superb. A very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and showed excellent service during my stay. Close to the interstate. Close to shopping areas and restaurants.
We were greeted by a very friendly staff, the unit was clean and comfortable. However the walls are not very soundproof, we had neighbors argueing till 3am and got very little sleep - not good for travelers ! We should have compained, but kept thinking they would settle down! Breakfast was hot and good lots to choose from. We had a small incident with our credit card and when I called back the next day , which was a Sat. the lady on the desk said it was above her pay grade and I would have to all back on Monday to speak to a manager, not really the best answer to give. Our problem was resolved and we did get an email from Fairfield Inn regarding the issue. A plus maybe we had a notice on our car from the Montgomery Police that our vehicle was checked and tagged as secure ! The neighborhood was a nice area and felt comfortable
The hotel was easy to locate. The check-in was quick and easy. The room was small for it to be a suite. They looked to be the same size as a regular guest room just with partial wall separation to distinguish the too. The air conditioner was entirely too loud so the good night's sleep was out of the question. One suggestion for Marriott, please provide USB ports for guests.
This is typical Fairfield Inn. The common areas are well maintained and inviting. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel is convenient from freeway, though it is a north side hotel and we were traveling south. Traffic downtown is usually bad, so not ideal for us.
Our children live in Pike Road. We recently stayed her for the birth of our grandchild. This hotel was awesome. From check in to check out it was great. The breakfast was the best I have seen in the USA. They had everything you could have wanted. The rooms were clean and spacious. We will stay there again on our trips to Montgomery --which will be many!
The Fairfield Inn was clean and modern. Good Wi-Fi. Within walking distance to restaurants and COSTCO. Close to the interstate for easy access to Montgomery or on your way to Atlanta, GA. No reason to stay closer to Montgomery and pay more for a good room.
We stayed there June 18, 2017 on the third floor. Ms. Cassandra was so helpful at the front desk. After driving 11 hours it was nice to have a smiling face to greet you. She gave me directions to the local Walmart because my daughter had forgot to pack something. Every housekeeping person we met was friendly and helpful as well. On our return trip, we stayed there June 24, 2017 on the second floor. It was late when we checked in after driving 14 hours, the staff was friendly. The breakfast was good and my girls enjoyed the pool and exercise equipment. The only problem was that the TV didn't work in 211 but it was time to check out we notice it. the third floor was much quieter than the second. All is all we had a great stay. The Oakes
