Also close by is the Destin Commons with incredible eateries, upscale shopping, a park with pop up fountains at its center, and favorites like Bass Pro Shops and Hard Rock Cafe.

Grand Boulevard Town Center is a pedestrian-friendly, shopping and dining complex just off Emerald Coast Parkway, convenient to both SanDestin and Miramar Beach. For the high-end shopper, the center offers everything from Fusion Art Glass Gallery to Brooks Brothers Country Club. A number of boutiques, such as Hello, Sunshine and Magnolia House, carry fare you can't find anywhere else. Dining options include Mitchell's Fish Market, P. F. Chang's China Bistro, and Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Food. In 2013, Walton County’s first movie theater opened at Grand Boulevard’s Town Center – the state-of-the-art Boulevard 10 Movie Theater.

If you are near Miramar Beach, the snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Dolphin Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 685 feet straight out from the Miramar Regional Public Beach access (by Pompano Joe's), it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Dolphin Reef is at a depth of 12-20 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

Almost perfect!

My family and I have stayed at Almalfi before which is what brought us back. I believe our mother/son senior trip was a complete success! Four moms, four boys—this condo was nicely decorated and cozy with plenty of room. Beds were comfy and living/dining area had plenty of seating. Condo is close to shopping, restaurants, and the grocery store. A short walk across the street and you’re in beach paradise. With cooler temps in March, the heated pool was an added bonus. Just a couple of hiccups during our stay—water in shower was not overly warm, we never could figure out how to operate the living room TV, most interior doors did not lock, and we were given an incorrect beach gate code (easily fixed through live chat). Right before checkout, we did find dirty dishes in the dishwasher from the previous tenant (we hand washed all of ours). This is not meant to be a negative review at all—these are just things we felt worth mentioning. All in all, our trip was relaxing with an opportunity for our families to connect before our sons graduate and head off to college. My family has stayed at Almalfi before, which is what brought us back to this amazing resort. I will say, if you want a beach view, stay on the second floor or above. Also, the locals who live on property are extremely friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to visit again!
