Only one night stay. Courtesy bus took us to train station at 61st St / Woodside to catch the "7" train which can take you to the Met's stadium or US Open Tennis complex. There are also a few small shops near the train station. Short walk up the hill from the hotel took us to O'Neill's restaurant ...
great location next to the main highway in and out of NYC. Was relatively quiet, clean, decor a bit old but clean. Would stay here again. Price was great too. Maspeth have some great restaurants near by that are an easy walk in a save neighborhood.
This hotel was in a good location. The room was large. the Beds were comfortable. There was a huge walk-in closet. The bathroom was spacious and the shower adequate. There was a tub. In all a pleasing hotel, with good staff. The rooms need a little TLc, i.e. paint on the doors was chipping, but it ...

Very nice. Our room was on the small side, but perfectly comfortable. The bathroom was brand new. The location was great. This may become our go-to hotel for NYC!
Hard to find large rooms with 2 Q beds in midtown. Wine frig and micro welcome. Staff made point oif locating 2 couples traveling together in adjacent rooms. Discount on very nice buffet breakfast in real dining room welcome option that we used both days. Though did not have time to use, checked fitness room. Surprisingly well equipped with pretty new machines, full set hand weights, water, towels and cool temp..
Great alternative if you cant find hotel in Manhattan on budget. Easy and fast to travel to Manhattan. Times Square in 25min.
The hotel itself is stunning -- beautiful design and very comfortable. If you don't like crowds or nightlife, however, you may feel uncomfortable staying here on weekends because the lobby areas are very crowded as the hotel becomes a club/lounge at night and is full of people. It was a little annoying getting to the elevator through the crowd, but I'm sure the hotel is working to sort out hotel guests vs social guests.
