Close to where I needed to be for that weekend. Nice bathroom, nice bedroom, free Wi-Fi -- not much else, but that's fine. I don't need much, when I travel.

Nice hotel I’ve stayed here many times when I’ve come to NY

Pros: Centrally located between Queens and Brooklyn. Free parking. Cons: DIRTY. ROOMS. First room had a used condom on the floor by the bed. We notified management (who was very apologetic)- they moved us to the next room over, and gave us a snack and some beverages for our inconvenience. The 2nd room had hair on the toilet and on the shower floor. And the single-use toiletries had ALREADY BEEN USED. The shampoo and conditioner were half gone when we went to use them. Clearly house-keeping here does a shoddy job cleaning the rooms. (Maybe due to lack of time? Low wages? Not sure.) Lastly, bed was uncomfortable. Overall: We did not feel comfortable or relaxed in our room. We absolutely would not stay again. BTW: We contacted Holiday Inn corporate the day we checked in, who replied within a few days telling us someone from the actual hotel would be in touch with us soon. It's been almost a week with no word from them. ::Disclaimer:: I think Orbitz flagged the photo of the used condom on the floor thus rejecting my review, but trust me it was there. Hope this helps!

I would have to honestly say for the price, comfort and accessibility the hotel is “WELL” worth it’s weight in gold. If you’re from NY (like myself), you should know that all hotel rooms are the size of a whole Master Bedroom suite, but very few hotels use the space adequately. This place did an excellent job with utilizing the space. Also, it’s a pain in the (you know what!) when it comes to parking in NYC, and MANY hotels don’t have onsite parking, which leaves you finding parking a distance away from the hotel, dealing with alternate side of the street parking... or use a private parking facility costing you more money (not included). This place has ample of onsite parking, which works great for patrons. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I would have to say the only downside is the amenities around the hotel are few, and after a certain time you WILL need to drive to get anything out of the ordinary. You have a McDonalds next door and Gas Station across the street. Lastly, the room has a small refrigerator, which is located on the floor. It’s not bad, they should put it on a cabinet so folks don’t have to bend over or purchase a taller model.

great location next to the main highway in and out of NYC. Was relatively quiet, clean, decor a bit old but clean. Would stay here again. Price was great too. Maspeth have some great restaurants near by that are an easy walk in a save neighborhood.

Parking!!!! Breakfast was delicious they had pancakes eggs muffins. Easy access to highways right across there's gas food restaurant minutes away form the city I would go back again

The online photo makes this place look like it's in the middle of nowhere. In reality it is right next to a major freeway. If it were not for the fact that I was exhausted both nights I spent there, I don't think I would have ever gotten to sleep because of the vehicle noise. The hotel is also not close to public transportation. In New York that is a must. The room and facilities were very clean and they had a very good Continental breakfast every morning. The hotel was a good value for the nightly cost of a room. The staff was overwhelmingly accommodating.

Went to the Straight Pool World Championship held at Steinway Billiards in Astoria, about 4 miles from the Holiday Inn Express in Mespath. This is the second consecutive year have stayed at the Mespath location. There were no tolls between locations. Overnight parking was free. The price was the best I found in talking to other observers/participants at the tournament and comparing their accommodations. The breakfast was great. The staff was helpful and gave good advice on which restaurants in the area had great food at reasonable prices. Will be staying in the same location next year.

Very quiet and peaceful. Short drive to Williamsburg.

The staff at Holiday Inn Maspeth (Queens) was friendly and courteous. When we arrived, we noticed the heater wasn't working properly. They sent someone almost right away to check it out, and when they couldn't fix the issue, they immediately moved us into another room (with a fridge!). The beds were so comfortable, and the breakfasts served were plentiful. The cheese in the omelets could've been a bit more melted - otherwise, everything was great. The "gym" was a bit small, BUT they have enough equipment to get some cardiovascular and body weight training in. Self parking was convenient and allowed for us to use our vehicle at all times. We were just about 15 minutes away from Manhattan via the Queensboro (Ed Koch) Bridge. Overall, we got all we were looking for and more. I would definitely stay here again.. and again!

Good Clean Room & Good Staff. Room heating was too hot. Location from the window was not good.

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was super comfortable and a great value! The only hesitation I would have is the location since we were going in and out of Manhattan but that's our fault for not booking a more expensive hotel in the city. Otherwise it is very convenient off the highway. Not near walking distance to the subway but Uber was always within 7-8 minutes. Overall, great staff and great place to stay with amazing value!

Overall it seems a little overpriced for what you get, considering location and room cleanliness. The latter in particular was somewhat disappointing as I could smell dust everywhere in the room (not good if you have allergies)

This hotel was amazing! Free wifi and free breakfast. The staff was wonderful and so nice. They helped with transportation and recommended places to go. I felt so welcomed and I was really comfortable. Even after checkout, we were still able to leave our luggages with no cost. Since we did arrive early for check in, we were also able to leave our luggage until it was check in time, but thankfully since our room was ready, we were able to check in earlier. The only downfall was the location. It wasn't horrible, it just in the middle of factories and it was really far from the subway. It was about 20 minute walk to get to the subway. If it had more attractions, this hotel would of been perfect in all areas! Thank you for the great experience this weekend.

Overall very clean room, appearance of hotel was nice, the staff was friendly and it includes free WiFi, parking and breakfast.

The hotel was clean... Staff was friendly food was great. I did not like the parking . No parking spaces available that mainly why i pick the hotel for parking.

The holel was fine good breakfast parking and clean room. The only problem the A/C was loud. I would book here again.

Very accomidating staff. I ran a race and wanted to have a late check out in order to shower. They couldn't have been nicer. Clean, modern room. And...Parking Parking Parking in Brooklyn!

My room was located at the 1st floor. My family could not sleep at all, as several guys were talking very loudly at lobby. But no staff at the front tried to make them calm down. Finally I moved my room to the 3rd floor. I tried to use business center, but printer was out of paper and did not work properly. I had to wait until 1:00 am to receive a help from its staff and print my boarding pass. They did not provide shuttle to JFK Airport. The hotel is located in the mid of industrial region. This hotel is really terrible to stay!!!
