Motel 6 St Louis East-Caseyville

Practical hotel, really like pet friendliness

Hotel wasn't fancy, but reminded us of a simple Aloft - simple room design that made our pet's stay as well as our own good. Staff friendly, it's a good location (we visited for the Great American Eclipse - it proved to be an ideal jump off point for the day in Waterloo in totality zone). The ice machine was out, but otherwise all was functional. Extra amenities like tissues and shampoo would have been nice, but no big deal. The pool is a nice surprise in season. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Collinsville

Good enough Hotel

The only detail was the broken elevator and the room keys were not possible been programed having to aks a front desk to open the room for us everytime when we need it. It is difficult when you arrived late (midnight) and you want to arrive quickly to your room without any issue. After that, the room was really confortable. Basic breakfast enough to continue a long trip from Mexico to Michigan.
