Solid standard hotel room. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel completely lost power early the following day and I ended up having to leave the hotel 3 hours earlier that i had planned. A well known, "respectable" hotel chain like this should have a back-up "power source" in the event ...
Check in was good and went downhill from there. The beds and pillows were hard, a/c wouldn’t keep room cool, the walls are paper thin. The people next to us were loud all night and i realized the next morning they were employees.
Arrived to find the hotel in a nice quiet area close to Walmart and Schnucks, which was great as we needed to do some shopping anyway. Room was nice, though some things you could tell were not cleaned recently or well. Room was right over the pool on the floor below which made it loud as there were ...
Felt welcomed with the lady on the front counter - great personality. Everything felt down as soon as we entered the room. Bed sheets where the dirtiest we have ever seen, have our doubts if they have been ever washed. The situation got worst as soon as I removed the cover sheet. Went to take a shower ...
Pleasant staff. Bathroom had black mold on wall. Rusty towel rack in tub area. Dusty vent in bathroom. Walls looked like they were dinged up spackled. Needs painted. The breakfast was ok. Bread was on stale side apples oranges were old bananas were brown. There was a toilet plunger left in the hallway ...
We only stayed at the hotel for one night, as we were only there for a baseball game in St. Louis. The hotel was decent looking but it could use some upgrades. They could use bigger TV’s in the room. The room was clean but the air conditioning wasn’t working. The staff was very friendly and nice. ...
I had a good and speedy check in experience but as soon as I went into the room, that is where the good stops. The room was not cleaned good at all and I found all type of stains on my comforter, to the point where we had to have the staff come change it out. The blanket underneath the comforter ...
Traveled to Alton for a funeral. This is a great addition to the Alton hotel scene. Immaculate hotel, 2 years new with modern, stylish rooms and reception areas. Comfy bed and the sheets didn’t reek of hotel laundry chemicals like some places we have stayed. Very good breakfast included in ...
This hotel has the pool in the main lobby so the first thing you notice upon entering is a blast of humid chlorine smell. When housekeeping made up the room they never replaced cups and glasses but we had new soap everyday. Management was unable or unwilling to control the drunken wedding party.
Great staff and rooms are always clean stay here every year and will continue to do so
Nice no frills room for the price. Would stay here again.
This new look to motel 6 is very nice! The front staff was professional,.
