Bed bugs!

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for Valentine's Day evening and at 3am in the morning had to check out because we saw not one but two bedbugs. I proceeded to tell the desk that I wanted to check out, was told I would receive a full refund. The front desk manager acted as if it was no big deal, and then the security guard proceeded to tell us they had a MAJOR ingestion a month prior that they "thought was taking care of" on Monday morning I called because I still had not recieved my refund and the people had no notes or clue what I was talking about. I've left several messages, I've stopped by there and still nothing. Not to mention the next day I had 4 bites on my arm, and these were the huge bed bugs! Hotel 21c is clearly ok with them and does not care about their guests!

All of the staff were friendly, helpful and just FANTASTIC. Clean restaurants and rooms. Art galleries were great. And the artwork throughout was fun and playful. Will be back again.

I would highly recommend passing on this Bates Motel stay , for the Waldorf Astoria price!!! After our stay, we were charged almost double the price for our accommodations. This was supposedly taken care of by several different representatives and yet charged over $120.00 the price we were told upfront. The rooms are very tight and compact for almost a $400.00 per night cost.

Safety at a cost

Not the ideal choice neighborhood and for peace of mind its best to park your car via the valets which costs an additional $45 per night. They place your car in a monitored parking lot. Elsewhere, well good luck on safety. Everything though inside was nice. The big pool unfortunately was set with guide lines so it felt more for exercise than leisure. They have a sauna, rain room, and gym so definitely fitness oriented. I don't that I'd call thisba young familu class hotel by any means.
