Went to check in at 4:30 pm (check-in was 4); our room was not ready and would not be ready for an additional 2 hours. The water park was filled beyond capacity, with two other hotels offering access to the park (even during COVID times). Staff was very rude and completely unhelpful. Staff would not give us a refund for the room (in fact charged my card an additional $100??) - we were told we have to call back and talk with the management company. Worst experience ever!

I am not sure if it is just poor management, or a bad owner. We booked one of the largest rooms they had, it had pealing wall paper in several locations, mold, broken doors on cabinets. Check-in was a complete disaster, the lady at the desk didn't understand that the room was paid for and they just needed a credit card for incidentals. She wanted to double bill. The water park opened at 2pm, check-in was 4pm, (website said 3pm) Rather than checking and tracking what rooms were ready, and checking people in as rooms were available, they made everyone wait until 4pm. I quite literally waited in line for 45 min to be handed a key. (all my paperwork was done to get water park pass) To make matters worse, they were trying to check in two separate hotels, in at the same desk. The parking lot was a disaster, ice every ware, only half the parking lot was clear. When we got up to leave, due to the number of people staying, I would bet there were 30+ cars double parked and couldn’t leave if they wanted to. The visit was a complete fail, the hotel wasn’t ready to be open for the year. I would bet first weekend open, it should have been impeccable, they had all winter to fix their issues, and I am guessing everyone was laid off and came back Friday morning, truly a shame.

Didnt realize it for a few hours because we had kids to water park but the maids hadn’t put blanket and bedspread on one of the beds. So only had 1 comfy bed. But boys enjoyed the water park. So overall a good stay

I stayed 2 nights. We had 2 rooms , unfortunately my room had a sewer smell all the time and I asked the front desk lady to change my room but she said she will send someone to clean my room. The odor went away for couple of hours but it came back and was there the entire time. The other room we had was fine. No complaints.

This hotel is very outdated. The carpets need to be replaced. It was not very clean.

Rooms have no view of beach. Staff was friendly but took a lot of prompting to get then to explain things like "where the ferry is" how to purchase tickets "how to get to the lake etc. The room was small but clean. Had an outside entrance. Breakfast was the exact same thing both morning gs we were there.

When we arrived for checkin at 3:05, the front desk attendant spent 15 minutes trying to upsell our room and having me fill out paperwork. Then she informed us that checkin doesn’t begin until 4 so we would need to come back. When we went back around 7, we stood in line at the desk for 10 minutes. (Very slow process!). Then I “got in trouble” with her for not signing my middle initial on a line of the water park waiver. Not a friendly reception. Our room was hidden away on the fourth floor, of what seems to be a three floor hotel, in a corner; our penance for not paying for the upgrade. Water park is not a very good description. Pool and hot tub with a watery playground is more appropriate. We will stay elsewhere next time.

We found our room up elevator 3 floors - across to the breakfast area then up a bunch of stairs - great view of the back parking lot..... not impressed...

Pool is green, room dirty and well used. Bed was good

Room not clean on arrival (food stain on wall, popcorn on floor, floor sticky to walk on, bed linens stained) and not cleaned properly during our 3 night stay. Also, walking from room to parking lot was treacherous due to extremely poor snow removal which had turned to ice. No attempts made to apply salt. Seemed to not care if guests fell on the ice. Have never stayed at a hotel so poorly run. And, it certainly is not a cheap place to stay--it actually is quite expensive.

Room was very tired, doors did not close properly, mop boards dirty in bathroom, mildew smell throughout. Price is a big high, like Florida is cheaper . I would suspect the owner is no longer in residence. Staff was very accommodating, they are not local residents., but from a carribean island. They speak proper English and act very properly which may have made some uncomfortable, but they were actually the highlight of this stay.

At check in the hotel staff was luke warm but it was about 11:00 p.m. The room description stated 4 queen size beds which turned out to be 3 beds and a worn out pull out couch but we dealt with it just fine. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling - enough that it looked splattered all over, mold in the shower. The free breakfast was disappointing. They opened for breakfast at 7:00 a.m. We arrived at 8:00 a.m. The food was cold - not luke warm - cold, the milk dispenser was broken and the coffee tasted old. The staff working the food acted as if they did not care about what they were doing. When we checked out at 9:00 a.m. the staff was, again, luke warm. So sad. The location is great but not worth the premium price we paid.

Check in and out time are inconvent. Was not able to check in until 4pm and check out was at 10am which online stated 3pm and 11am.

They only allow check in after 4pm while check out before 10am even when it is not busy, which is very inconvenient. The room was located on top of waterpark, which is hot, humid and noisy.

We had a few minor things wrong with the room, but they were fixed immediately. It was a great stay and the room was beautiful. Had a great time in the waterpark and their sister waterpark which you get in free as well. Would recommend to anyone. Great family experience.

The check in staff was not very welcoming and the bathroom was gross
