Was good place to stay

We rented 3 rooms. All 3 needed repair due to no hot water, broken window, broken ac, horrible service. Manager would not offer new room or room discounts for all the issues and concerns. DO NOT GO HERE.

Had to do half of their service for them like take out dirty towels and getting clean towels, take out the trash and putting in new bags.

Very dirty overall. The waterpark needs a full cleaning. Rooms were gross also. Smelled like urine in the bathroom.

Property would not adjust room for unsafe weather.

The place was fine for what it was. Pretty run down, and not very clean. The staff was friendly enough when they were available…which was rare. The water park was great for small children, but the pool destroyed everyone’s bathing suits. The bathtub had hair in the drain when we checked in…pretty gross. Also, the entire place smelled like mildew and there was lots of water damage on the ceiling.

I unfortunately have to give this place all low rating because I didn’t even get a room there. It was 1:05 am when we arrived and when we called ahead of time, they said to go to another property (Hamilton) to check in across the street. We arrived at that property and he said, oh, you will be staying here and said that after Halloween, they move all their reservations across the street and the place closes down to certain times. I asked the following morning, and the girl at the desk said that had I checked the fine print on their website, they reserve the right to alter reservations. I am aware of things like that, but didn’t assume an entirely different property. Not to mention, our reservation included four tickets to their indoor water park which was part of the reason we chose to book. She was busy getting a cat out of a room two doors down from us that she didn’t have much time to further explain anything to us.

The location on the lake is great. The switching me from the hotel I selected on orbitz to one with less amenities (no waterpark, or game room) and full beds instead of the queens we selected was really ridiculous.

Went to check in at 4:30 pm (check-in was 4); our room was not ready and would not be ready for an additional 2 hours. The water park was filled beyond capacity, with two other hotels offering access to the park (even during COVID times). Staff was very rude and completely unhelpful. Staff would not give us a refund for the room (in fact charged my card an additional $100??) - we were told we have to call back and talk with the management company. Worst experience ever!

I am not sure if it is just poor management, or a bad owner. We booked one of the largest rooms they had, it had pealing wall paper in several locations, mold, broken doors on cabinets. Check-in was a complete disaster, the lady at the desk didn't understand that the room was paid for and they just needed a credit card for incidentals. She wanted to double bill. The water park opened at 2pm, check-in was 4pm, (website said 3pm) Rather than checking and tracking what rooms were ready, and checking people in as rooms were available, they made everyone wait until 4pm. I quite literally waited in line for 45 min to be handed a key. (all my paperwork was done to get water park pass) To make matters worse, they were trying to check in two separate hotels, in at the same desk. The parking lot was a disaster, ice every ware, only half the parking lot was clear. When we got up to leave, due to the number of people staying, I would bet there were 30+ cars double parked and couldn’t leave if they wanted to. The visit was a complete fail, the hotel wasn’t ready to be open for the year. I would bet first weekend open, it should have been impeccable, they had all winter to fix their issues, and I am guessing everyone was laid off and came back Friday morning, truly a shame.

Didnt realize it for a few hours because we had kids to water park but the maids hadn’t put blanket and bedspread on one of the beds. So only had 1 comfy bed. But boys enjoyed the water park. So overall a good stay

I stayed 2 nights. We had 2 rooms , unfortunately my room had a sewer smell all the time and I asked the front desk lady to change my room but she said she will send someone to clean my room. The odor went away for couple of hours but it came back and was there the entire time. The other room we had was fine. No complaints.

This hotel is very outdated. The carpets need to be replaced. It was not very clean.
